The Video is from the Tjolöholm Classic Motor near Gothenburg, Sweden in 2004.
Geraint Owen was demonstrating Babs on a small gravel access road just a few feet from the crowd.
'He only got up to maybe 30 mph but the noise was really nice :).
I was standing in the Crowd Clearance Car (A Rover P6B with sunroof) some distance in front of Babs shouting my head off to get people out of the way. Not an experience you are likely to forget.....
Go to the museum at Pendine sands in Wales this summer and see the car in person and some videos and some goodies to buy! and guess what its free admission!!!!!
Wasn't it John Godfrey Parry Thomas?
See you in the Beach Hotel summer 2009 and we will argue over a pint of beer!
Wonderful, I wish I had been there, pity you can't really get an idea of the noise, but it will probably make the air in your chest vibrate, you'd feel it as much as hear it.
trust me, the first time i saw it when i was 11 at goodwood it was amazing, there is something earie about it... i don't know what it is but i get this constant buzz whenever i see it or hear it.
