@MewWolf5 once you have the edges paired just solve it like a 3x3, all you have to worry about is parity

this is beginners tutorial. you dont have to do the first algorithms over and over. if you kknow how to get the corners up there itll take much simpler algorithms. and once i have 3 corners i just use fredricks method. SO MUCH FASTER best time is a minute 10 seconds

i cant make the white cross correctly, the orange and green edges are matched up with the centers, but the red and blue edges switched. i have no idea what algorithm to use to solve that problem.

@spongebobcrazy24 have some common sense, pick the blue piece and bring it to the down side, then match it with its center and put it back up( if you did that correctlythe red-white edge piece should be in the down side) then match the red edge piece with its red center then you're good to go

Pogobat method isnt the best because you have to keep breaking up the first layer, putting it back, breaking it up, etc. Use the Lars Petrus metod, thats the best

that depends entirely on your preference. Thrawst says "prime" some people say "inverse" some people say "Counterclockwise" and "clockwise", so it doesnt matter.

i think its a great guide and a great tutor! but i believe the best way to learn how to solve a rubik's cube is not by videos, but by other people who know how to solve it and learn from them in real life. also, while learning the cube, you should establish your own idiosyncrasy, that way you could connect with the cube more, making it easy for you to memorize stuff like algorithms and parts...

soo confusing. =( im still on step 1 lol i got 1 part right but i have been doing step 1 to get another color set together WITH the white with another white to try to form the cross like you did at 2:46. i've been trying to do another colo set for about 10 minutes and it never happens..

there is not a real answer to your question you are just solving it wrong. you need to watch and match the other colors on the cubies of the white side that are not just white

Ri, Di, R

(For the right side)

L, D, Li

(For the left side)

It's a bit easier I think.
