Sagat is not overpowered hes very solid and not cheap. BUT... His damage is to high and everyone can agree all sagat needs is more recovery on his tiger shots and a bit less damage thats it

yes he is overpowered against zangief. All he needs to do is standing HK. The green fist is unsafe on hit unless its EX, which knocks down. Also, zangief cant jump in because of the antiair form the HK, this proves sagat is absolutely fucking broken

The fact that Zangief is horrible against Sagat doesnt "prove" anything, same can be said for Akuma or Blanka. Nevertheless, I agree Sagat should be tuned down a bit on his tiger shots.

DSP, I'm a Blanka user as well, let me tell you blanka weakness, Basically if fighters keep putting you in a block stun there is nothing you can do about, there light attacks will snuff out every one of your moves, even electricity! It sucks

True! Also, he is more vunerable to quick focus attacks. Some characters have a plethora of ways 2 punish quick FA. some don't. 2 me, Chun-Li has some of the best ways to crush savvy FA users...and savvy Blanka users as well! I personally think Blanka is a Sagat killer in the right hands.

Sagat tier wise is the best as he is rated S, but he has his flaws which is that he's a big chara, he's slow to move around and he's got a pretty predictable line up of moves similar to a basic Ryu strategy. The best chara would be who you are the best with, for me it just happens to be Ryu although everyone is bound to call you a Shoto scrub (DSP reference it's not that I spam Hadoken, that's just a lure to make them come in and Shoryuken them.

DSP's Akuma would have a better chance against Sagat. DSP is getting pretty good with Akuma and it is a better matchup than Blanka.

Shady J was specifically jumping in with j. MP, which often trades with electricity, sometimes even beating it clean. It's also very easy to safe jump against Blankas that spam electricity on wake-up because it has bad start up.

I imagine DSP knows that Electricity exists, and he doesn't use it for the reasons I outlined above. Blanka can't afford to trade against Sagat.

Exactly, cause when Shady J was Abel & Ken, DSP's Blanka mopped the floor with them. Eventhough the matches were close, the damage Sagat does compared to Blanka are not even close. DSP should have went with a Akuma.

Phil needs to work on how to set up his ultra.. A lot of these rounds belonged to phil, but then sagat turns it all around with an ultra juggle.. Blanka's ultra does a lot of damage, so phil should try to actually learn how to combo into the ultra.. not only make it when he is pissed, as in one of his latest online matches:P
