There is nothing in the Bible that even HINTS that Satan was the father of Cain. Besides which, all the descendents of Cain were killed in the Flood. Only the children of Seth through Noah survived and there is nothing in the Bible that suggests that the wives of Noah's sons were descendents of Cain either. Face it, their is NO serpent seed!

@mookuu The NIV in 2 Cor 11:3 says Eve was deceived. The KJV says “beguiled” The Greek word used is “ exapataeo” which means “to deceive”. Which translation says “seduce? Seduce does not have to mean sexually, it’s primary meaning is to “lead astray” and is used in that sense “apoplaneo” in Mark 13:22. As for Eve getting a man from the Lord all the translations I have seen say “Lord” – “Jehova”. Even the Vulgate says Lord – “.. Dominum”. Which translation are you looking at?.
@mookuu None of these translations mean Cain was PHYSICALLY a child of Satan just that he was evil. If you look up the original Greek the word is “poneros” which means “of a bad nature or condition”. In Acts 13:10 Paul says to Elymas the sorcerer “You are a child of the devil……”. It is referring to the snake as an animal and not as Satan and the “seed” is the animal’s seed and not physically Satan’s. Some of the Bible is in parables but some is meant to be taken literally. You haven’t explained how this “serpent seed” survived the Great Flood. I can only see one meaning for ‘naga’ meaning ‘lay’ and that is in Isaiah 6 and refers to touching the lips with something. There is nothing in the Bible that even HINTS that Satan was the father of Cain. Besides which, all the descendents of Cain were killed in the Flood. @mookuu The NIV in 2 Cor 11:3 says Eve was deceived. The KJV says “beguiled” The Greek word used is “ exapataeo” which means “to deceive”. Which translation says “seduce? Seduce does not have to mean sexually, it’s primary meaning is to “lead astray” and is used in that sense “apoplaneo” in Mark 13:22. As for Eve getting a man from the Lord all the translations I have seen say “Lord” – “Jehova”. Even the Vulgate says Lord – “.. Dominum”. Which translation are you looking at?.

@mookuu None of these translations mean Cain was PHYSICALLY a child of Satan just that he was evil. If you look up the original Greek the word is “poneros” which means “of a bad nature or condition”. In Acts 13:10 Paul says to Elymas the sorcerer “You are a child of the devil……”. He doesn’t mean he is physically a child of the Devil but that he is evil and 1 John 3:8 says “He who does what is sinful is of the devil.” They are metaphors just like calling someone a pig because they are greedy

@ashtile that one verse alone takes care of your argument "There is nothing in the Bible that even HINTS that Satan was the father of Cain..." but im not done yet lol. lets go together and look at what happened in Genesis. in the curse to the serpent, YHWH said " i will put eminity between your seed and the womans seed". We both know that he means children so obviously the serpent (SATAN) must have children just like Eve has chlidren. its so clear that i dont feel the need to go deeper

@mookuu The serpent was being possessed by Satan. Genesis 3:1 describes the serpent as an animal and verse 14 says it is cursed and will crawl on its belly. It is referring to the snake as an animal and not as Satan and the “seed” is the animal’s seed and not physically Satan’s. Most snakes are dangerous to humans, they bite the heel or lower leg and they get hit on the head exactly as the Bible described. Also it is symbolic of Jesus and those who follow Satan.

@mookuu As said before it does not LITERALLY mean Satan is the father merely that the people concerned are evil. It is a figure of speech. Some of the Bible is in parables but some is meant to be taken literally. You haven’t explained how this “serpent seed” survived the Great Flood. The Song of Solomon is more likely to be a version of the Sacred Marriage as found in the hymns of Inanna in Sumeria. You have to remember that much of the Bible is mythological. Are you part of Christian Identity?

All of this language is figurative and symbolic for what really happened. Does the account above sound like someone eating an apple to you? Of course not, but you have probably been lied to since Sunday School about what really happened in the garden of Eden.

@ashtile By the way, I haven't seen the word 'apple' mentioned in these scriptures yet, have you? You won't either, nowhere in God's Word does it say that Adam and Eve ate an apple! Yet we see modern religious paintings showing Eve holding an apple. Why? Because it makes for good symbolism and makes a better story to hide what really happened.

Satan is a super-natural being possessing supernatural powers, thus he can appear to Adam and Eve as two different things (beings, entities) if he had wanted to. Eve partook of the fruit of Satan, and then gave it to Adam and he ate of it...in other words, she was seduced by Lucifer to have sex with him, then she had sex with Adam and introduced Adam to the act of sex.

@ashtile She was impregnated and conceived by the serpent first, then she conceived a second time from Adam. It is believed and not medically impossible that Eve got pregnant by both Satan and Adam at the same time and thus went on to bear twins (Cain and Able).

Eating apples doesn't make you ashamed of your nakedness! But losing your innocence and your virginity certainly can. We also notice that they didn't make masks to cover mouths that had just eaten apples; they made aprons to cover their 'private parts' because they were now more conscious of them and embarrassed.

@ashtile In Strong's, #398 the term "eat" means to eat, also to lay. The term "touch" in Strong's is #5060 which means naga, to touch, also to have sexual intercourse. Both terms had and have sexual connotations to them.

@ashtile Beguiled used in this text is the same as "seduced." Furthermore, Scripture says Cain "was of that wicked one" he was a son of Satan's through the seduction of Eve. The term "of" is the same that means offspring. Neither is Cain listed anywhere in the descendents of Adam which strongly indicates Cain was not his son. The official beginning of the wheat and the tares began with Eve. The wheat AND the tares.

It is also used as an euphemism of "to know someone" sexually as when Adam "knew" his wife. The terms eat, touch, and know are often used in Biblical lingo for sexual relations. Lucifer was the way of knowing good and evil.

@mookuu In English ‘touch’ can be a euphemism for sex as can to ‘take’ but again context is everything. I can only see one meaning for ‘naga’ meaning ‘lay’ and that is in Isaiah 6 and refers to touching the lips with something. If you believe a sexual act took place you will see these meanings in those particular words but I do not. Agreed Satan told the first lie but it was Satan talking through the snake.

@mookuu Gen 4:1 implies Cain was conceived after they had left Eden. The Bible portrays Cain as able to resist temptation but choosing not to do so. See Gen 4:7. Only after killing Abel is he put under a curse. If he was Satan’s son he would have been cursed from the start. To say someone is ‘of’ the Devil doesn’t have to mean a physical sense but a spiritual sense. The Book of Enoch is influenced by Greek mythology. Angels are not ‘given in marriage’ why would they then have sexual organs?

As you say the word ‘akal’ has a number of meanings but I cannot see from Strongs that it also means a sexual act. Even if it did it is a very secondary meaning and the context should tell us what it is. I consulted a Jewish site and they do not have this meaning.

@mookuu I can’t see that ‘your eyes will be opened’ as a 2nd lie since that was the function of that Tree, to know good from evil. I cannot agree that this Tree was Satan. I have never come across that interesting idea before and it’s certainly not alluded to anywhere in the Bible. There is no indication that this was not an ordinary tree. Adam was told that to eat of the Tree of Knowledge would mean death and it was not an apple tree, that’s just tradition started I believe by John Milton.

It was earlier referred to as ‘fruit’. Interestingly ‘malus’ is Latin for apple or fruit and is also the word for ‘evil’. Again, to desire etc does not have to mean sexually. The word chamad is used 21 times in the Bible and only 3 uses can be said to imply sex. I agree the language is figurative but I see it as a person who had been told that something is forbidden then that thing becomes desirable to them. Eve was an innocent, childlike and her curiosity was aroused..

@mookuu Tell a child not to do something and they will do it. ‘Why’ is the 1st question of a child and ‘why not’ the second. Eve disobeyed and was pleased with herself. Also Adam was told before Eve was created not to eat of this Tree. Was he being told not to have sex with Satan? No. The sin in Eden was not in the eating it was in the disobedience and Adam was just as guilty. They covered their sex organs because they now had the knowledge of evil and that sex could be used for evil purposes.

@mookuu Beguiled is never used in the Bible in the sense of sexually seduced, it’s only your own interpretation here. The Jewish sites I have read agree sex had already taken place before the Tree incident . After all they had been created with sexual organs so sex must have been intended and was probably part of not ‘being ashamed’. Another reading of this from your point of view could be that Adam had sex with Satan!

The Merovingians arose in the 5th century AD so your first 2 authors could not have known about them. Jacopus wrote in the 12th century in a book called The Golden Legend and was just repeating stories that were current. This is NOT historical proof.
