  • is this guy a robot

  • I hope your company/youtube videos dont die! WE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS THEY ARE HELPFUL!

  • porn vid music

  • faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaail

  • Gotta love those posters, on the right you have "John Blutarsky"

on the left you have Albert Einstein, Love it!!

    Nice Tenna vid too!!

  • Visit wifibooster.info

  • at 6:50 is the tinfoil suddenly black or did i miss something??

  • The cheesy song is stuck in my head...

  • Try specialized tools to improve signal quality without all this stuff :). It brings full characteristics about surrounding networks and signal, so you adjust your router, or network card parameters. In my case the most significant thing was actually used channel, Windows not provides this info. I was used Maxidix Wifi Suite.

  • click at 2:10 for a hot dog :3

  • What if your printer "shrinks" the image so it fits in the page? is your template still usable?

  • Very, very good template, although won't work for the inside-antennas,those routers or USBs that have the antennas built inside ;)

  • at 5:14 , "DONT CUT YOURSELF". Smart. like no one knew that.

  • The basic idea is interesting. Knowing the basics, it's not all that difficult to start "from scratch" and make your own reflector. It can be a segment of a circle as well as a parabola. The circle isn't quite as "accurate" but it's a lot easier to draw. The antenna post is positioned half the radiius from the center of the reflector.

The total solution is to get a USB extender and put the antenna and reflector on your roof. If you have an antenna rotator, mount it on that.

  • I want to do this, amplify my wifi antena receiver, but with a dish antenna... it shouldn't be that hard.... I already got the USB Wi-fi adapter, all I need is :

    The dish

A bigger antenna that fits the Dish focus point

a long cable (25, 50 or even 100 ft) coaxial antenna cable to connect the adapter to the dish antenna.

About 32 db, probably, long range...

Well let's keep looking for info on that,

    Thanks for this tut....

  • Nice job :-)

  • about as lame as can be just google windsurfer and use that its hella easier.

  • Ofc it works, but as soon as you move out of the bundled wifi signal it will come out worse, so if you move your laptop or have a handhold device it's useless.

  • wow nice show, you can feel it which one you choose.let explode something else. wether you like it or not.

  • Hmm ... Works

  • thank you, av made it yesterday, my signal strength was about 13% to 16% (i got this numbers from wirelessMon) and now with the new antenna, the signal strength is between 35% to 40% !!

thanks for the nice video, i recommend this for every one, even if you have a nice signal at your home, try it, it cost nothing :D

  • Comment removed

  • it actually does work, ive already made one but its old and worn out, gotta make a new one = ]]

  • Thanks a bunch for this information, plan on doing it in the future for sure man!

  • bullshit...bullshit...bullshit...

  • @sunderlandz This is sound idea. However, that parabola is way too small to make much of a difference. This parabola is probably close to 1.5 lambda, which to see a decent increase in gain, you should shoot for at least 5 wavelengths. My WIFI link uses a homemade dish of 9 lambda, which kicks ass; 10 miles is easy! Yes, his little reflector would probably help the antenna be a little directional; but I don't see much gain being realized from it (maybe 1-1.5dB, which you will never notice).

  • @kc8ntp ur soo cool. Bigger, better,,, seen it, done it, got the T Shirt

  • fake not work

  • It's a fun project that works well. I did a variation using some plastics that cut the creation time and made a more rigid & durable structure. I live in a humid place and I thought plastic made more sense for that reason too. It looks pretty sweet too. A bunch of friends actually asked me to build for them too. It's a really practical project!

  • You shuld add your videos to your website! :)

  • w w w . net-wifi . i t

  • 3:56 LOL wow. Fail

  • YOU SUCKS

  • ur a looser, if u want a booster just buy an antenna for that

  • @josefor1 buying an antenna is uneconomical and boring

  • "Don't cut yourself" XD

  • Nice use of pinnacles smart music at the beginning

  • This should prove to be helpful. I've been suffering for two years with a poor signal from my router on the second floor to my PS3 in my basement. I mean, random weeks it's good, but then other random weeks it's really bad.

  • i tryed it but doesnt make any diference ,IT DOESNT WORK

  • I really love your approach but just to let you know there's nothing illegal about amplifying radio waves which is basically what WIFI is.

  • This isn't even amplifying the radio wave. It's just a single directional focal.

  • @staticfish agreed, it's just a reflector

  • oh I think there probably is something illegal about amplifying radio waves. But this is focusing which is totally different, and if I say so myself, focused badly too. if you pause the video at around 6:45 and imagine a beam coming from the reflector at both outer edges, then the antena really should be mounted about where the crease is in the guy's index finger. a large baked bean can sawn down the middle would work as well if mounted at the correct distance from the antena

  • can you use aluminum foil

  • bravo but can u put it on xbox 360 network adapter if ur like 20 feet away to get a signal and would it damge the radio frequince ?

  • ahahah i sound stupid i made it and never messed it up and router 365 ft away !

  • Lol you're reading dude.

  • dude i need the printe of the sheet leave me a msg or coment :) i rate 5 starz

  • Great... Awsome...

Any software for increase wifi signal???

  • Excellent, VERY EASY TO MAKE! (unless your in kindergarten and even then I think they could do this)

So far it is working well

  • I just thought i'd say your videos are very, educational easy to follow and great well done. 5 stars and i subscribed!

  • looks really hard

  • Simple, yet excellent!!

    Thanks-a-million!

  • i am am using an ordinary tL-wr340gd router. I maximized wifi signal up to 1kw home made satellite dish directing to my target location. the bad news is the rain interfere the signal but in clear day I have 100% signal.

  • you are cool

  • if u made everything a3 rather than a4 would the signal u would it catch more waves and be even stronger?? or would it just be pointless

  • Useless. The only way you can do to get better results is doing like a 3d parabola (pic the vertice of the parabola and spin it making a kind of a cup. Give it a try

  • uhhh the dotted line cut out..... where would u find that to print?

  • Why do people rip these vids in comments? Seriously, do you have epeen envy or what? Its just a suggestion, I don't remember him saying this was the best way to do it, nor does he claim credit for creating it. Don't be a douche. The video was pretty informative and helpful for people who might not have a clue what they are doing.

Thanks, Techanvil, for your helpful information.

  • lol i used half a pop can and got a better signal

  • I made a parabolic out of an old dry milk can and it works great and increased the transmission strength of my wifi router so my lap top could have a stronger signal.

  • This feels like more trouble than its worth

  • I also think that, just make it simple and not those colors etc... for a same result ...

  • Nah man it's worth i got my signal increased from 2 stripes to 5^^

  • why those gay fonts and effects? and why are read what you speaking?

  • can barely read man

  • can anybody tell me the answer of my question i have hp laptop and using internet by using its built in wireless but signal strength is very low only one signal how to boost my signal strength???????????????????????

  • move it closer to the access point. You could also build a giant Parabolic device that it would capture all the trace waves and aim it at your laptop

  • only way would be to do it at the router, or by a USB based wifi system, and those sometimes come with a cord that you can use to move around for a better signal.

Or you can build this type of parabolic antenna and us it with the USB antenna.

  • his face is scary

  • i do believe there is already a copyrighted product like this.

  • Thanks Dude! works like a bomb... My router is upstairs and office is a bit of a distance downstairs.... I was not receiving a signal, zero, nothing... followed your directions made the parabolic booster, I have full signal....and for just a few cents ur a legend...

  • lets hope, if it works ur a legend:)

  • OH that music is so friging gay!

  • Too much work just to save $10 on a bigger and better antenna.

  • don't make your print black, just make it white with lines and save everyone's ink

  • wow your left eye is like evil!!!! but great info.

  • woooaaa u almost explain me da history of da internet ... speak quick ! !!!!!! :( internet i fulll of ppl like thus , lmao!!!!

  • your foil was at the end black ?why?

  • virgin

  • LMFAO

  • what about how to increase the reception in Laptops ...'=)

  • Nice design on the support bracket. I'm the guy from freeantennas BTW. I like your design on the support bracket.

  • how do you take out the attena?

  • I want the John Belushi poster.

  • I'm pretty sure the function is called a quadratic

and the equation is visually displayed as a parabola.

    lol.

  • BOOYAH ! ! !

    +1

  • good vid thx

  • Do you have one of these to keep the voices in my head quiet? plz.... upload template for that.

  • part (2of2)

    1) You are smart enough to cut paper, but stupid enough to be dangerous.

    2) You have disappointed more than one of your teachers in secondary/post secondary education.

    3) The IEEE and the FCC pass your videos around their office as jokes.(kinda like rick rolling, i'd imagine)

    4) You've been exposed to ALOT of direct RF signal, and somehow managed to find your way onto Youtube.

  • part (1of2)

People like you are the reason i never have to be afraid of losing my job. Although the items you display in your little "arts and crafts" show do work....Your concept of radio waves and how they work are so backwards. I can tell you a few things that are immediately apparent.

    Continued...

  • does the template have to be black? i dont feel like printing all that ink...

  • @deAthdotbat Put it in paint and change the color to something else.

  • thats good man i like it

  • the word is cool

  • till 6:44 the foil is shiny, and suddenly it is black. how? Why? wouldnt a black surface be a poor reflector ?

  • it doesn't dipend on the fact that is shiny! it's only because it's mado of matal that can reflect wi-fi waves. i think he just painted to make it look better.

  • This is cool but it would not extend the rage to over 5 miles like i need. I am going to make the first real super long range wifi network and make a video sometime. The further away you want to connect the more power you need so ya need a signal burner for it.

  • What good is a long range wifi network when whoever would want to connect to it would need to be set up to transmit an equal distance? Thats what cellular towers are for.

  • The Parabola also focuses received rays onto the dipole antenna. So you dont need one of these at the other end ... a decent quality antenna will transmit strong signals in the focused direction, and receive weak signals, but focus them to create a strong signal.

  • 2 minutes and 30 seconds in, he finally gets to the effing point!

  • get just 50 ft copper thin telephone wire cable and use that..much better signal boost..

  • 50 foot copper wire... as a Wi-Fi booster? Learn about how wavelengths work first, idiot.

  • you try it right??and didnt work???idiot american..muhahahahaa..

  • If you call Americans idiots, explain why you have a New York shirt and have some kind of crappy southern accent, you fucking hypocrite.

LEARN SOME FUCKING CRAP ABOUT TECHNOLOGY AND RADIO WAVES, PLEASE. Explain to me how a fucking 50 foot wire is going to boost your WiFi signal. Either that or continue being a retarded redneck.

  • not to bitch but hed need a 50ft cat5e network cable to do a direct connect or ned to be like an expert and make some kind of coil thing to boost signal

  • BTW, your trolling is pathetic. Kthx.

  • cant find template =(

  • Where is the template I can't find it?

  • HI,

    Nice vid.

I published it in my UTILNET (blogger).

    Best regards,

    Miguel (Utilnet)

  • i have the same router

  • netstumbler is a very good wifi signal indicator of surrounding wifi networks =] google it

  • sir i have a belkin F5D7230-4 with ver.8000ak wireless g router can u please tell me how 2 flash my router with a excelent opensource firmware with instructions like the above video

  • Your a pro.

  • this is a great instructional video. Keep up the good work!

  • lmao @ drilling with a razor blade and your ghetto hard drive paper weight, good stuff though.

  • Wow, you sit really still when you talk.

  • Ok i uploaded the template, but i couldn't comment the link on this video

So go to my account, and the link is in the comments box :)

  • Ok i got it to work as comment also :)

    remove the spaces :)

  • Hi, if anybody wants the template, i still have it.. Just pm me ;)

  • If I made an extreamly bigger version to this? Or double the size.. Would it still work?

    Thanks!

  • I like the song used while the dish was being made, I would like some info about it please.

  • Just type windsurfer on google.

    its much easyer.

  • ha he cut his hair at the end

  • yea I know that guy is sick look @ his eyes. Appears to be pissed

  • i use a linksys but its not the same as yours .......it got no antennas........what should i do

  • wow what a doushe, good advice and everything but you just sit there and stare at screen. it's so just... strange

  • solar cooker whaaaaat :o)...too lazy to cook thanks for the booster anyway

  • What is the name of Music?

  • Just use the bottom of a pie pan!

  • Mr., hi, I want to know where i can get your template. In your website it's not possible.

  • Dude stop reading from a script and it will sound a hel of a lot better

  • these things are shit they dont even work waste of time dnt make one

  • to boost your wireless signal you'll have to point it in the direction where you were previously getting the strongest signal. it will work, unless you're trying to tell me satellite dishes are all a big hoax too

  • It could work...but the arc has to be PERFECT and the foil has to have NO defect in it...or else, is it a hoax.

Satellite dishes work because the arc and the receiver are engineered to be at the right distance one from the other and the surface is very smooth and not all bumpy(sorta like aluminum foil)

  • even if it's not perfect, the general parabolic shape even with wrinkled aluminum foil is going to have enough surfaces that point to the focus to significantly boost signal

  • Boost it? Maybe. But if your signal moves out from where the parabolic dish is, there you are S.O.L.

If the surface isnt near perfect, then itll point the signal any which way...which wouldnt work that hot.

  • does this piece of kit actually work?

please reply before i make one and waste my time.

  • Mr TechAnvil thank you for yours videos .

  • i cant find the website.

  • when he said building it kinda reminded me of Home inprovement Al borlen

  • lol

  • ha i watch that show

  • Genius, pure Genius. Good man, finally someone who know WTF is going on with wireless and perfict step by step with amazing results. I made one for my WMP300n NIC, with some slight mods(mainly blowing up templates in ratio with my fist sized antenna) boosted SS from 24mps to 54mps @ 350ft ;p Good luck to everyone and to listen to TechAnvil as he knows a lot!

  • Does this work better than a hardware signal booster?

  • that guy is creepy...idk, unsettling

  • are you reading your text XP :S

and this vid looks heavly cut :)

    But still thx

  • I can't find the layout! the website is down :(

Somebody can give me an alternative link please???

    thank you!

    melagodo

  • Whats better, This or Wind Surfer?

  • the concept is basicaly the same, and Windsurfer seems to be a lot easier to make

  • where dou get the printout thing

  • thanks!! i'm from argentina and it worked great!!

  • yes it does work! Because of how much ink his design uses an alternative is the WINDSURFER which can also be found here on youtube.

  • has this worked for anyone

  • lol u looks like a football fan and a beer drinker

  • Good job! I´ll try that at home, taking care of my hands of course, haha.

  • isn t it easier to just put a salad maker behind the antena... ?

  • Noob ,hahahaa darnnn

  • Looks good

  • who is going to be that stuipid to cut

    arrhh arrhh my hand

    lol

  • Ur awesome bro, Im gonna try this tomorrow.

  • u should work for the news thechanvil lolz...

  • Your good at keeping your face in the same spot!

  • I tried this and after i spent ages making it the only bar i reached was my local at the end of the street.
