hey man, happy to report everything has held up great! I love the unit, and am having a blast with it!! I'm really looking forward to the NSFX (the fx unit specifically for the NS7)!!! Let me know how everything goes with yours!
@tranjohn the tap button is there to manually set the bpm...you just press it in sync with the beat, and it'll record the bpm in software and tag it to that file...similar to SSL's tap function in the software
The main difference is, as with everything on the NS7, this button is a dedicated, one-to-one button on the hardware, connected to the software....great feature
Unfortunately, no. There is a way to do that with all these external audio recorders that are out. You would just have the last "master out" signal be going into a digital recorder. I wish it recorded on my HD!
Hey dude thanks for all the videos. I have been thinking of getting the NS7 for a while and it seems like a great piece of equipment to have. I am new to the DJ scene and it seems quite expensive, was it worth the investment for you? It seems good for beginners as well as more experienced DJ's would you agree with that? Any advice for me when making my decision to buy this or not? Thanks again.
BUY BUY BUY!!! I am so happy with this investment, you wouldn't believe!!! There looks like an Effects controller is in the works soon too. Lack of effects is probably the only thing missing with this unit. But it's great for beginners and experts. This unit will keep DJing fun for you, highly recommended!!!
great job though... thanks for the videos! im getting my NS7 this week and i've been battling whether or not to go VCI-300 or NS7... im tired of people uploading just scratch videos. I want to see it use at a club or party.. =D how do you like it so far
I was caught in the same dilemma, but obviously I went for the NS7!
I love it so far, it solved all the problems I wanted it to, and I've found 1 or 2 pleasant surprises along the way. I can't wait to actually do a party with it though, right now I'm stuck at school with it, and while it's fun to throw a house party, I don't always have time to.
yo man wud u recommend tha ns7 ffor a club dj?
