It could be like: Industrial Age, Electric Age, Modern Age, Internet Age, then Space Age.

i personally have nothing against cartoony graphics, but why it bothers me that age online has cartoony graphics is the fact that previous games didn't, it makes my brain feel uncomfortable, it also makes it harder to align buildings to optimize building space because of the shape of the roofs, that's the only actual downside to the graphics.
