do keith1985nYc's video. just search for excercises for abs. it say alternate leg tucks on the vid picture. get comfortable doing that 7 minutes or so, then move on when you're satisfied. its pretty tough for a while. it gets easier every day though, promise.

@zxzrp0 i didnt mean to put it down like that but being an athelte that plays football basketball and ran track i tried p90x and it made my speed slower and my strength explosion weaker... it will defintaly help you lose fat help flexibility cuz i have the yoga from it which is very hard and the yoga has helped but having a weight training program in the gym and running sprints is better then p90x.

@zxzrp0 building muscle will burn fat as well as sprinting you might wanna start a weight training program maybe a split training system chest triceps, back biceps, legs some shoulders, take a day or 2 off repeat, and do hiit intervals later in the day you can do anywhere from 10to20 min thats all you need max speed fat will fly off and ur metabolism sky rockets you naturally going to want to eat so eat, but eat right. Nutrtion and sprinting comined with weight training BEST RESULTS!
I am a bit confused on the amount of cardio I should do; half of people are telling me "keep a level of cardio that will make you feel energetic the rest of the day" and the other half "do just before exhaustion in order to burn as many calories as possible"...

I agree sometimes it does suck doing it in the morning but with a strong cup of coffee and a moderatley paced session and some good tunes (RUSH or MAIDEN) the 30 min goes by quick. I have yet to stick with it long enough to see results but im starting. You do feel energized after as well
hey scooby, i run 4 times a week, 30mins each run at an average rate of 160bpm, for a 17 year old such as myself is this enough cardio? i have approx 1 inch of fat on my lower belly and approx 3/4 of an inch on by upper belly that i want to get rid of by december and i know there is no such thing as spot fat removal, but is this a realistic goal for my current cardio program? do i need increase my weekly cardio?any help would be much appreciated. thanks scooby

However, unlikely as it may be, are straight bar pullups hard on the shoulders? Hi scooby, I am from Peru, my question is if I can do cardio one day and the next day do my weight workout. For example: (monday, wensday, friday = weight workout) & (tuesday, thursday, saturday = cardio). Sunday no cardio, no weight workout.

@mattk740 I can answer that. When you start feeling the burn is when you're actually benefiting your muscle(s), so you shouldn't stop at that point. Do as many as you can WITHOUT sacrificing good form. If you start flapping your arms or turning to the side it's time to stop.
Nice, this helped a lot. I do a warm up of 10-15 mins light cardio before weights and I always know I'll 2 cardio sessions (not in the gym, I play football/soccer for at least an hour twice a week) so this has calmed me down and reassured me that as long as I do it, I'm okay. Thanks again.
I'm doing training in gym on Mo/We/Fr in morning after first meal, in Tu/Th/Sa i'm doing abs in morning and cardio in evening on empty stomach, after that i'm eating only 250g cheese with only 10% fats because it contains casein.

I am a bit confused on the amount of cardio I should do; half of people are telling me "keep a level of cardio that will make you feel energetic the rest of the day" and the other half "do just before exhaustion in order to burn as many calories as possible"...

@MrJuha82 my english is not perfect and it will be very difficult to explain it to you (and trust me its true, i´m studying medicine): When you wake up your blood sugar is very low, the liver tries to keep the blood sugar constant (the liver can make sugar [glucose] out of Lactat, Amino acids & Glycerin) and one way to get to amino acids is to cut back muscle proteins (the only way to get to big amounts of amino acids whit out harming your body) this is transportet to the liver and there it ....

Its very important that blood sugar is constant because for example red blood cells and the brain depend on the constan blood sugar, so your body will first cutback your muscles in order to stay alive... this was a very simple explanation.. look it up on wikipedia or in any good biochemical book.... [Gluconeogenesis] so please for the next time look and think before you writin anything and making fun of someone....

I agree sometimes it does suck doing it in the morning but with a strong cup of coffee and a moderatley paced session and some good tunes (RUSH or MAIDEN) the 30 min goes by quick. I have yet to stick with it long enough to see results but im starting. You do feel energized after as well

hey scooby, i run 4 times a week, 30mins each run at an average rate of 160bpm, for a 17 year old such as myself is this enough cardio? i have approx 1 inch of fat on my lower belly and approx 3/4 of an inch on by upper belly that i want to get rid of by december and i know there is no such thing as spot fat removal, but is this a realistic goal for my current cardio program? do i need increase my weekly cardio?any help would be much appreciated. thanks scooby

SCOOBYYYYYYY, i have problems with doing cardio on the days that I do my legs at the gym, i'll either get to the gym and my legs will be shot from the cardio, or i'll try and go for a bike/run after the gym and i just can't give it my 100 percent

if i brisk walk in the morning and eat six small healthy meal a day can i lose weigth and become skinny or do i have to jog in the morning to lose weight hope not cuz i cant jog cuz i got joint problem what u suggest can i lose weight with brisk walking or is not enougth to lose weight cuz everytime i jog i get pain like in less than a week on my leg and cant work out for like months

Hi Scoob. Firstly, love ur video's keep up the good work. I wonder if you can shed some light on the grey area surrounding fat burning. I am naturally very lean anyway but wanted to know. does fat burn on an empty stomach during cardio (given the fact that the body would use the energy from a recent meal apposed to burning fat). I have no issues with my size just didn't want to run catabolic and lose muscles to energy requirements due to the cardio training. thanks, jason

Hey scooby.. I noticed your LEFT SHOULDER seems to be a bit less developed in the front region and seems to be pulled back as compared to your right shoulder. I have the same problem but with my right shoulder and the front area just doesnt seem to be developed even though I both shoulders are equally strong. Anyway I heard of people born with rotator cuff defects

@scooby1961 Could be a chronic rotator cuff tear, one that requires years of activity before finally surfacing without any prior symptoms. Read that even incorrect sleeping posture can affect rotator cuff alignment!

However, unlikely as it may be, are straight bar pullups hard on the shoulders? Been doing some reading on elbow and shoulder care and several sources claim that straight bar pullups are not a natural movement and are shoulder wrecking just like how the fully extended barbell bicep curl damages the elbows. Personally I use the pullup handles with 45 degree grips

ok, so im a male sophmore in college and have always been pretty fit, but i wanted to start getting definition in my arms and abs so ive started doing everything you talk about (30min of cardio a day/in the evening, and switching every other day b/w your dumbell excercises and an ab routine i picked up along the way)- ive also changed my food choices... but i was wondering if adding another 30min of cardio in the morning would be counterproductive to me acheiving muscle gain/defintion

Hi scooby, I am from Peru, my question is if I can do cardio one day and the next day do my weight workout. For example: (monday, wensday, friday = weight workout) & (tuesday, thursday, saturday = cardio). Sunday no cardio, no weight workout.

@mattk740 I can answer that. When you start feeling the burn is when you're actually benefiting your muscle(s), so you shouldn't stop at that point. Do as many as you can WITHOUT sacrificing good form. If you start flapping your arms or turning to the side it's time to stop.

Nice, this helped a lot. I do a warm up of 10-15 mins light cardio before weights and I always know I'll 2 cardio sessions (not in the gym, I play football/soccer for at least an hour twice a week) so this has calmed me down and reassured me that as long as I do it, I'm okay. Thanks again.
