I love how the music started to play right as Stevie walked up to the mic. She had to resort to a quick thank you to Warner Bros lol. And I agree that this deserved the award over Hotel California. As a HUGE fan of both the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, Rumours is an iconic album. Hotel California had so many great tracks and probably would have won if it was released in any other year, but it got dwarfed by one of the greatest albums of all time.

Too bad the Eagles didn't win. I like the song Hotel California. I do think Stevie Nicks is a good singer but wish the Eagles could have won. Why was Star Wars even nominated? How many times has anything Orchestral even been nominated for Album of the year?
