Don't you think it is much safer to drift on a country roads ? Actually it is more challenging too because margin of error is much narrower. ..
You're right, theoretically it is but there's hard to find country roads with good visibility ahead around here. You see, we have lots of trees :). And these roads tend to have 3rd gear corners which means high speeds. As you can see from the driving line, this was nowhere near the limit of cornering speeds(to be safe and also not to spray anyone with snow).
To slide into a bus-stop over a curb means driver would have to make a major error judging road conditions. Sad though.
