@aj4346 Actually I'm British :-) And we see it over here, youngsters wanting to be 'gangstas' like Tookie et al. Not just black, but White, asian etc, they want to be real tough muthas, mimicking their US counterparts. But that's where the problem lies, there's a history to be written about, which Tookie did, but over here it's just playing copycat, and it pains me greatly when I see young White kids trying to give it the 'ghetto talk cuz', whatever happened to proper vernacular ?
