Actually if anything christians are extreme persectors.Even in my own class in school at least six of them were great friends with me until i told them im atheist. Now i cant even walk into a room without something annoying said about my views.
Christianity....the belief that a cosmic jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. If you do not obey and take this telepathic oath you will be sent down to burn in HELL forever, makes perfect sense doesnt it?.P.S I LOVE YOU ALL
For a US president to be openly Christian would in fact be unconstitutional.
In my experience Christians complain about things like atheist/evolutionist videos and often use lies and dirty tricks to do so. Then when non-believers respond, or their underhand tactics are found out, they are the ones who whine that they are being persecuted.
It seems to me that if you can't stand the heat, you should stay out of the kitchen.
ALLOW CHRISTIANS TO PRAY AND READ THE BIBLE AT SCHOOL AND PUBLIC PLACES. ALLOW CHRISTIANS TO SHARE THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF CHRISTIAN FAITH WITH NON-BELIEVERS- that would be speech freedom. VIVA CRISTO REY! VIVA CRISTO REY! VIVA CRISTO REY!
I am very much against racism, and I don't understand why TheCheese67 would send me a message like this. I don't know where he is getting his information from. And calling me ignorant, well... could we do a quiz?
I've been saying for years, the "religious" right is a group that as soon as you hedge their ability to remove someone else's freedoms, they start complaining about persecution.
It seems to me that a lot of the "persecution" myth started in the late 90's. Several studies found that the general populace felt the right was "persecuting" gays, non-Christians, etc, and were more sympathetic to those causes. So, the leaders said, "If we can be the victims, we get the public sympathy...".
If we Christians arent being persecuted tell me then why we are being told everyday that our children cant pray or read their Bibles on school grounds yes i know some schools have Christian Groups but I was in fact told by a teacher at a school i attended that i was not allowed to do either. oh and how about saying merry christmas? or preachers teaching against homosexuality?? where is our FREEDOM of SPEECH?? how bout abortion?? we are horrible people for trying to make it illegal!!! its a life!
They can pray and read Bibles on school grounds. The school just isn't allowed to lead the entire student body in prayer. And the Merry Christmas versus Happy Holidays, saying Happy Holidays isn't persecution, advising workers not to say Merry Christmas because it might offend people. It may be annoying but it's not persecution. As for homosexuality you have the right to say what you are saying and people like me have the right to say why you are dumb. Believe me you had plenty of Free Speech.
Oh I know! It's so rare to find a Christian church in America today. And with all the high taxes they have to pay, it's a miracle that they stay afloat! *snark* But seriously, for Christians in America to claim persecution is so arrogant and insulting. It's not only insulting to religous minorities and homosexuals in this country, but also to Christians living in countries that are hostile to them, like the Middle East. Try living there for a few months SMandella.
Apocolypticism is an outgrowth of persecution. Christian fanatics cannot enjoy their sadistic delusions about the rapture and the end-times without the assurance that it is justified because they are persecuted.
Whoa, this is news to me. I'm a christian and I've never felt persecuted or complained about anything. I've never picked up a picket sign to complain about anybody. Not all christians are like that.
I really thought this was a stupid video. Some people I guess have a need to hate others. How sad.
try telling a Muslim or racial minority they 'aren't being oppressed', then you'd be a rebel. This is walk-in-the-park dribble ... This video does a good job avoiding the issues where Christians are having their culture eroded.
The real reason the faithers feel persicuted is that deep down they realize their faith is basless and they cant argue the facts that Atheism brings to the table, all they can say is "you have to have faith"

Great music. Also the quote about victimizers was genius in that it describes the leftists/liberals and their weltenschaung.
