Had the Stg-44 been put into production in 1942 when it was originally conceived
and made in sufficient Numbers,then there is no doubt it would have had a huge impact in all theatres of WW2 and beyond,negating the need for an AK-47.
But it wasnt to be and the AK became the rightful Heir to the Throne.
true.. but the AK is an anyones weapon. Theres not much tactical use for it. The M4 or the NATO equivilants to it are much more suited for a professional Army. AK good for newbies, I hope you agree.
Well, thats because its used more. And when both sides of a conflict use it, of course your statistic of,"kill ratio" works for your argument. Now if you look at a nations against the AK, say I don't know, America vs Iraq or Afghanistan: the kill ratio is so much more khigher in favor of the M4. Now why is that? Its more accurate: You don't,"spray and pray" and its in the hands of a more capable hands.

The Germans invented the assault rifle, the Russians perfected it, no substitute for a AK,
