I don't know where you saw $4000 -5000 per implant. In the west suburbs of Chicago the average price for placement $1800 to &2500 per placement depending on type and skill of Dr. (less for multiple), about !/2 that for mini-implants, and then the cost of final restoration (depends on what is being replaced). Certainly not 5000 per tooth???? It's usually just slightly more than the cost of a dental bridge with more comfort, fewer long term problems, and better health!
@drtgibbs Actually I'm in the process of getting my done now. I also needed a bone graft total price for one tooth. $6,100.00 Not everyone lives in the USA.
Why do people always asume that if they watch Youtube they have to be from the US?
@Vengeance31 Oh and if I want an Anesthesiologist it's $700.00 per hour. They recommended that if wanted one, I'll need about 2 hours ($1,400) That would have taken the price to $7,500.00 Yeah, passed on that, gonna just go with the freezing. Getting the bone graft in May and the whole drilled with post probably in September, then my own dentist will do the tooth. That's $1,000 but included in the above price.
@Vengeance31 My dental plan which is actually pretty good will cover around 30-35% of the procedure. So out of the $6,100 I'll end up paying around $4,000.00
A bridge in Canada is around $1,000 but I'm not screwing up 2 perfectly good teeth for the one that had to be removed. I don't understand the logic behind that at all.
You forgot to point out that the average cost for each implant is $4,000 - $5,000 a tooth, and it's NOT covered under most dental plans.

@drtgibbs Some plans cover implants, and more each year as the longevity is far greater.
Call for a free consult--there is a lot of mis-information out there!
