This is a fine piece of music, and we have to thank the Upper Galilee Chorus for keeping it in the repertoire of liturgical concert music. However, there is a historical recording made in a synagogue in Berlin c. 1929, with Josef Schmidt as the cantorial soloist, that blows this out of teh water.
