  • @aedificamus Thanks for that bit of info! I always wondered, what the heck that background high pitched hiss was on this great piece of music.

  • @mattormeg I like that shot as well! She must have been maybe, 13 or 14 then. Now, in her 50's probably. My age. Yikes! Cute chick though.

  • Happy Birthday to David we miss ya!

  • wearin' silver boots, singin' trippy songs about wizards with hot chicks in miniskirts dancin everywhere...I'm going back mofo's, this new millennium sux! lol

  • amazing video good quality for the time,, and Uriah Heep just fantastic;)

  • Headphones only please!

  • @Kaptnbeyond Absolutely! It makes a huge difference. And not the tiny earbud kind either (in my opinion). They are called "head" phones for a reason.

  • snare sounds like a kick drum lol

  • a nie, jednak jeszcze nie obejrzałem

  • wyjebane w kosmos

  • Easy Living some of the best UH done in a short space of time what pressure they must have been under, brings the best out love the Vocals and Organ etc!! Why dont we listen to the voices in our hearts< Hmmm!

  • HAIR...HAIR.....Long beautiful hair!!!

  • man fuck uriah heep

  • bring this sound back!

  • Sorry--I meant "shame".

  • Absolutely beautiful! What a son that such crap gets into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a band like this Kansas, Rush, and Yes get ignored! I happen tp love progressive rock--Emerson, Lake and Palmer too!

  • the guitar player looks like geddy lee !

  • love those silver boots

  • force uriah heep

  • the mustache

  • The girls' dancing...

  • @Ivanrunsblue the stoned girls dancing!

  • Так говорил Волшебник со своих Вершин.

Поймёшь его – и не останешься один.

  • They should get a spiritual royalty from Spinal Tap.

  • Got to love the music and those little babes dancing in the back. Man iam so glad i grew up when i did. Same girls dancing when T Rex was on this show.

  • I thought the thumbnail was Geddy Lee.

  • Very clean. crisp sound...very good...I remember the first time I listened to this song, for some reason it toyched me inside and I was a better person for it.

  • Bella canciòn, lindos pantalones ...pero las bailarinas...uhmmm muy chistosas , no tienen ni idea de ritmo...jejjee

  • Nuthin changes in the world. The song sings of a desire for common sense! just like this 18th century dude wanted for the world!>>watch>>"John Wesley sermon-Thoughts On War"

  • one of my regrets, as of now... kind of too late, i wish i saw uriah heep back in the 70's. "can't see everything ya want "!

  • this is true love

  • this is fantasy, magic...WOW

  • I played a Heep song for my H.S poetry class \m/

  • only drug i need to listen to this is the volume knob baby

  • Sure, and as The Sweet said when breaking away from Chinny Chap crap to go their own HM way in '75; " Solid gold brass got a plastic face".

I can't imagine any band in 2012 having half the the depth to come up with lyrics remotely as real or connected-up to the human heart as the Heep, here.

Whats on stage today is empty excess baggage in compare.

WTFs going on, I want to know.

  • very good

  • Rock in the 70's. When it went from bubblegum to KICK ASS!!!!

  • Jeez, those were the days. Uriah freakin' Heap. Oh yeah.

  • I thought Ace Freeley did the silver boots first!

  • Wish the vocals were in sync with the vid. Otherwise...hell yea!!!

  • Leggings were invented here! But girls... obviously for men... sorry, take them off and give them to your OH...

  • Lol @ big silver boots.

  • Lip sync. Unfortunately. I've listened to this song a million times. I know.

  • This band's outasite

  • Ah the seventies...

  • Playback!

  • Memories!!!

  • Awesome!

  • SUPER

  • great to see the old band again (p.s to lobo63mt)saw a t shirt at a gig just before xmas "URIAH WHO?" on the front and "FU**ING HEEP THATS WHO" on the back, wish i could find one

  • I used to mention them to people. but nobody knew who they were.

  • It's sad to think that it took people over 30 years to realize what a great band this is.They were extremely over-looked in the 70's.In my opinion they were grossly under-rated!!! I have listened to them since they first came out in '69 or'70.And will continue to listen to their stuff before 1980.I saw them in concert at the Paramount (now the Kirby Center)in Wilkes Barre,Pa back in 1976 with Cheap Trick as the warm up band and they were awesome!!

  • Tank you Mr. David Byron and Ken Hensley, you are the BEST

  • The Giant Silver Boots of +1 Guitar-playing were one of the Epic Artifacts one could quest for back in the 70s...

  • Wonderful clean sound! Is this a great analog recording or a digitally remastered version?

  • The drummer lives a long from my granny . I see him everyday driving past and he always waves.

  • Вне времени!!!

  • БЛИН -КАК С ВИНИЛА !!!

  • love this tune. real nice!!

  • i miss he 70's!

  • if they were a modern band wowww

  • 132 people need sending to Hogwarts for serious re-education.

  • @darkestdraw I agree... They are very out!!

  • Ive seen this for about the 4th time now-it's the most real sense of joy my eyes have had the priviledge to see..Thank you!

  • Jak taka dobra piosenka może nie być jeszcze przejęta?!

  • disco? are you on drugs?

  • @soonerclint99 i am on drugs but i could tell you that this is progressive rock

  • Indeed, why are they not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

  • @sehaalturk Why UH not in Hall of fame? Coz they told too much truth for the shower of shite that make up these "prestigious" music awards.

Value lies only where you accept it to be, kid.

  • @LondonDada Hall of Fame, Nobel Prizes, Oscars, etc are all part of a big

joke, it seems! They can keep their awards, juries, acceptance speeches all to

    themselves.

  • @sehaalturk They aren't in the Hall of Fame because the R&R Hall of Fame has always spurned prog rock bands. You also won't find Yes, Kansas, or Rush for the same reasons. It took an act of God to get Genesis in there. Yet you will find disco bands, rap bands, hip hop, and many others that are not even Rock. It has become a joke rather than an institution.

  • @hawkmanjack

Absolutely agree with you 100%. That Rush, Yes and other all-time greats are not in the R&R Hall of Fame is a calamity and that institute is a sad joke.

  • @hawkmanjack just like mtv,vh1, it all sucks now.

  • @hawkmanjack That makes me sad, considering who has gotten into the HOF.

  • Why isn't this band in the the rock & roll hall of fame?

  • Music feels good.

  • is byron or hensley that can do the very high pitched singing?

  • @MrLedZep1995 byron :-)

  • I LOVE THE BAND AND THE SONG BUT IN THIS VIDEO THEIR AREN'T EVEN PLAYING OR SINGING. WATCH THE DRUMMER.

  • @GIOVANNI1955C Yeah, the drummer is always a dead give away :))))

  • The New Year has started with some wonderful people sharing this gem! Happy New Year you all!.... We need to think and love each other not fight each other to heal the pain!!!

  • It must be his Birthday

  • haha..someone found the wizard :>

  • My favourite disco song

  • @TheBozanna Disco???

  • @TTownRounder

    Yes, it is disco

  • @TheBozanna No,it is prog rock

  • @lucaslotti

What is prog rock? I know only progressive rock but is it the same?

  • @TheBozanna prog rock is progressive rock,i just shortened the name.(is shortened even a word?)

  • @lucaslotti

    I see.

  • blast..ive pressed dislike by accident...this song is one of my all time faves..amazing song !!

  • Man, I want the 70's back...

  • THE BEST !!!!!!!!!

  • I got to see the Heep twice once in 73 and again in 76. They could rock the house for sure

  • This album is prophetic!

  • What a shame: just some phony lip sync

  • Their Guitarist is pretty underrated.

  • (laughs) I must admit if you were a CEO of a major corporation it would be awesome to go dressed like that to work on casual day!

  • OMG...I'd almost SWEAR that this is the song played by 'midnight concerts' as being from their recent tour of Japan...just LOVE this song...lyrics/music/presentattion, it's ALL THERE

  • I saw them in San Diego. Standing room only.

  • How fucking sad it is that music has been corporate hi-jacked

  • @mrshackztor Whatever, so has everything else. There is great music everywhere all of the drones just listen to the corporate shit.

  • @lavishmcronald

Oh jeez, my mom has been leaving comments under my youtube name again, haha. Although I can't disagree-music (and yes, everything else) has indeed been corporate high-jacked, haha.
