From my limited knowledge of Music, it appears to me Panditji is playing Chandranandan. (Garden on the Moon-my translation, Ken Zuckerman translates as "Moonstruck). It is one of my favorite compositions. Many thanks to the two Maestros. Very well played.
Stunning performance by two great maestros. Pandit Tejender is seriously underrated in the arena of sarod. His playing is not only melodic and soul stirring, but also beautifully executed and clear; as this rendition demonstrates. Re Pandit Swapanji, such complexity and clarity of bols is rarely seen and even more rarely executed so crisply. Thanks for a wonderful post! Do you have the alap portion? @shap274 Yes it is Chandranandan indeed - the raga invented by Ust Ali Akbar Khan.
