• Hey my names amy lol. :)

  • Hi Glintzy! I am a big fan of yours :) ... my tips to have an absolute flawless by wearing Bare Minerals ... I have a huge hyper pigmentation patch on both of my cheeks to cover it simply buff your blemishes with bare minerals concealer building up the coverage until its disappear follow by the foundation lastly with the veils ... tadaaa!

  • Well done videos! I really appreciate the extra effort to creat quality instructional videos!

  • Tha handi buki brush is way.better

  • U should really try bisque, from bare minerals, better than that liquid concealer

  • ahhh!

  • awh you and your husband are really cute together! :) you're really pretty too! i just ordered bare minerals in light from ulta and am so excited to get it..i have some acne and am hoping that this makeup won't aggrivate my skin furthermore. i like this video a lot and can't get over how cute you guys are! :)

  • :o how did you get rid of all your acne scars and blemishes?? ur skin looks amazing!!! :)

  • YOU GUYS, YOU DO NOT want to mix minerals with liquid concealer. Trust me, I used to and within a couple hours the places where i put concealer on became darker then the places where I just had bareminerals. DO NOT DO THIS. Get bareminerals concealer.

  • how did youget rid of so much of your acne?

  • Hi Glintzy, I have used this mineral foundation for a few times now, however after 4-5 hours I noticed the colour become darker, its like it has been oxidized or something? Do you have any idea?

  • @2010jesslee with some powder foundations they oxidize once they're exposed to the air, which is is when it's on your face and it becomes darker. it's best to maybe go for your color and then walk around for a bit then go back to the store to see if it's changed, you might need a different color. I work for bare minerals and this is what I recommend to clients. I hope this helps :)

  • Can u tell me the names of all those brushes u used for the bareminerals foundation pls? (i think there was two). Good video btw!

  • @letseatpopcorn the concealer brush wasnt a bare mineral brush, the next one was the flawless face brush (the handy buki works alot better though! i have both and the handi buki is so much better at buffing it out and making your skiin air brushed

  • awww hes so adorable i had them same blemish issues i gave my face a qwhole month of rest and can you belive its been clear out the blemishes i dfrank plenty of water and used clearisil adult and clearsil benzoil mixed them both together and ever since in a little as two weeks BLEMISHES WHERE GONE BUT YOU NEED TO USE A GOOD MOISTURIZER CAUSE IT WILL DRY YOUR FACE BEING THAT YOU NEED TO USE IT 3 TIMES A DAY TILL YOU SEE CLEAR IM ALREADY USING IT ONCE A DAY :)

  • Hi Amy! Thanks for the video! I have redness in my cheeks that I usually like to cover up with liquid foundation before applying powder, blush and/or bronzer. Do you find that Bare Minerals does a good job of covering that sort of thing up even though it is a loose powder or do you suggest using a liquid foundation underneath the Bare Minerals?

  • @Brooke31088 If it's general redness I find that it covers really well. Sometimes it's not quite enough to cover a bright red pimple though.

  • @Brooke31088 it covers redness so so so well!

  • Your husband is soo cute...he seems like a really great guy.

  • Oh wow! I saw another video of yours in which you explained how to apply the Revlon Colorstay foundation with a wet sponge & your skin was not in the best condition. However, your skin here looks FANTASTIC =). I hope it stays this way for you. Btw, I'm a huge fan of your foundation videos because you arent like those gurus who have nothing to conceal and talk about flawless foundation applications. You're so real; keep it up!

  • glintzy...how do you blot during the day (what do u use???)

  • @hkdragon2 I like the Clean and Clear blotting film.

  • does this mineral foundation look cakey? because i used a kabuki and applied it and it looked cakey, like it didnt look natural :/

  • @monkeynailz It sounds like you are using too much on your brush at one time. Try putting thinner layers on and building up to the coverage you need.

  • @monkeynailz also it helps if you use the bare mineral brush that it comes with..the handy buki its amazing!

  • do u apply the four kinds or just 2. i got a pack and i really don't know how to apply it. i got the bare mineral foundation spf 15 sunscreen light, all over face color warmth, another foundation golden medium, and last bare mineral veil 42940, help me pls

  • use a smaller brush and dip directly into bare mineral foundation for covering zits etc

  • really?

  • did this foundation helped you with you acne, a lot of people say it does???

  • Im 50 years old with acne. I have started using pure aloe vera on my face. I was amazed how it stopped the acne plus many of my wrinkles are disappearing. Natures best. Aloe vera. "moisturizes also>

  • I Use The Lightest One As Well

And I Think It's So Great!!

Before Bare Minerals I Used To Try Out

    Different Types Of Liquid Foundations

And They Would Either Make Me Look Lighter Than What I Am Or Kind Of Orange Or Slightly Darker To Where You Could Notice The Line From My Face & My Neck!!! It Was Gross!!!!

    THANK GOD FOR BARE MINERALS!!!<3<3<3

  • i give 5 star rating,i liked... ur husband even make ME nervous!!! man GET out!!!! hahahaha my husband was watching the video and start laughing ... and say.. she is blaming on her husband? hahaha i say whateva!! u guys do make us nervous lol, nice thanks.

    Lilly

  • I wish I had seen your videos when I was in middle school and I had acne. Your videos are so helpful, more so many other videos I've seen. Thank you.

  • I've never used mineral foundation.

Is it realy so good for you're skin??

And can you put it under the liquid foundation??

Maybe stupid questions, but i realy want to know it before i buy it.

Thanks for this interesting tutorial. xoxox

    Btw..you're hubby is nice. :-))

  • I've wore the mineral foundation over the liquid foundation a lot, that works really well.

  • Thanks for you're kind answer. :-))

I'm going to try it for sure!! xoxox

  • how long does this last? like during the day?..

  • It depends on how oily your skin is, really. It doesn't melt off of mine, I'm just really careful when I blot. I have heard some people say that it melts off of their face though.

  • So you mean that you can put on the mineral veil before putting on foundation then again after? Like say, if youre like me, and you get sweaty sometimes and my makeup gets all weird.

    :)

  • Yep, you sure can ;)

  • Awesome thanks. Very pretty.

  • ------------------?

  • what is your favorite mineral makeup

  • my face always seems to grease and ruin my make up =( how i do prevent that from happeneing??

  • this is very useful

  • I love Bare Minerals foundation. It doesn't break me out like MAC.

  • do you like better minerals or liquid foundations?

  • I do for days that I'm giving my skin a break. My skin seems to love mineral makeup, but it doesn't cover like the liquid does. If I'm going out somewhere special or I want to look extra nice I'll wear liquid, but all other times I'll put mineral on.

  • You dont even need foundation, you have amazing skin.

  • you can use the foundation as concealer right? i remember the creator saying something like that. i just dont remember for sure if she did.

  • Yep, I use to. If you have something very dark to cover up it won't cover it completely, but it does a pretty good job on regular stuff.

  • u have great clear smooth skin!!

  • YOU & YOUR HUBBY ARE TOO CUTEE TOGETHER iT WAS SO SWEET WHEN HE CAME iN & YOU SMiLED HAHA & GOOD TUTORiAL BTW! LOVEE iHEARTOCB

  • @iHEARTOCB i just saw the video. that was really cute

  • hihi your smile's so cute when you see your husband. aww

  • aww your dimples are soo cute ^^

  • i use bathhouse naturals brand makeup it is way better and more affordable than bare and it dusnt have the harmful chemical bisma oxychloride go to bathhousenaturals. com to check it out yourself

  • you have great skin!

  • oh!

    your smile is so cute!

    good video =]

  • you have beautiful skin :)

  • lol, love the smile when you said: my husband is home :) thx so much for the tutorial, I bought a bunch of mineral makeup online and had no idea of how to use it... They don't sell that here in Costa Rica.

  • your skin looks good even witout the makeup! NOT FAIR!!

  • fuck off u ignorant dumb stupid ass whole

  • hi!.. wer can i buy bareminerals?..

  • what concealer are you using???

  • It's Cover Girl Invisible Concealer and it sucks bad. I was just using it until I found something better. I now use my BE with a Stila brush for concealer, I show it in the How to put on mineral foundation WET video.

  • Thanks, I can't wait to try that!

  • How long did it take you to get good at putting on your bare minerals?

  • A few days to figure out how much I should be putting on, about a week to really get the hang of it.

  • OMG!!!!!!! :D

you guys make a really cute couple :D

    good video (:

  • is your name amy von?

    how old are you?

    xxx

  • I'm 26. =D

  • u have georgeous skin even without makeup this video was helpful

  • This was helpful...the concealer does help the minerals stick on to your skin.

  • Very helpful video, and adorable husband and doggies! Your household sounds fun.

  • aww you have such a nice smile :)

  • but you both look so young! =0

  • fairly light? second lightest, the lightest is light

  • no its not the lightest is fair go to there website and look

  • aww

    hehe

    is that your husband?

  • Yep! =o)

  • hes adorable. Hehe!

  • this isnt my account but light is the lightest i use fairly light also and i have very bad skin so this was really great on how to do bare minerals and how to cover blemishes i cant even tell there when your done! and by the way you dont have to use the bare minerarls brushes if you dont want to! thanks so much this really does help no matter what other people say! keep on doing tutorials..... they really help

  • Very informative video..I have a Q for u.I have a scarred-oily/combination skin.I tried using MAC studio fix pressed powder but its too cakey on me.Would u suggest me Bare minerals. Also which concealer and make up brushes are best in the market.dont wanna go about experimenting..your advice would be really helpful!!Thanks

  • Give BE a try, and start out with less than you think you need, you can always build coverage. It usually takes a little while to get the hang of how much to use. I have yet to find my holy grail concealer, there have been some that covered great but broke me out, I'm still looking. Brush wise make sure everything is natural bristle except foundation and concealer brushes. Mark, MAC, Nars, Essence of Beauty(drug store brand), and Sonia Kashuk(carried at target) all make great brushes.

  • Try Almay concealer in the tube, not stick.. I find it amazing. All of my friends love it too after I showed them. It smooths lines and stays on all day! You could get light, make sure it's the regular kind and not oil-free!

  • Thanks!!;)

  • Thanks heaps for that very informative advice. I've got a very sensitive skin. Am afraid to try any mineral make up. Would you suggest for me to try Bare minerals? Some say Everyday minerals is good as it doesn't contain elements like bismuth that causes irritation. Thanks again and more power. Looking for more informative videos from you:)

  • It is true that some people experience irritation or discomfort from BE foundations. It really would depend on just how sensitive your skin is. I would suggest going to your local Sephora or Ulta and having them apply it for you to test it out, then wear it the rest of the day and see how your skin reacts. I don't like how Everday minerals looks on my skin, but it is less irritating for some people.

  • Thanks heaps for the suggestion. I'll try that test first and see how it goes. Am hoping it won't react as I've been so dying to try it out.I've been thinking about that for almost a year now, and with that helpul tips, I would be more than happy to try it out. Hope you'll be able to show us more tips. More power:)

  • hiya cool vid would you suggest to use bisque concealer before or after foundation?

  • I use a concealer brush to apply before foundation, I find that it doesn't look cakey on my skin this way.

  • when you applyg you moisturizer you pulling your skin you'll get premature wrinkles! you should dot it on then tap it in to your skin

  • i like ur mary-kate and ashley makeup....

    nicee

    i had that ALONGTIMEAGO

  • Aw... you're pretty and sweet, and your hubby is so cute! ^_^

  • Your husband is adorable.

  • You and I seem to have similar skin types, so I have a question... I don't know if you've tried it, but I use a Mac medium coverage liquid foundation; I think it's called Studio Fix Fluid. Anyway, it gives pretty good coverage but it feels really heavy on the skin. Lately I've been wondering if I should try Bare Minerals but was worried about the amount of coverage I'd get on my problem skin. What do you suggest?

  • My skin is a lot worse than it shows up on camera. I'd definitely give Bare Minerals a try, but you are going to need a concealer if you have breakouts. It covers general face redness, broken veins and stuff like that well, but breakouts need a little extra help.

  • cute vid

  • does any one know if this works if u have the break out on the chin where its more just redness?

every video they already have clear skin so what about if your skins not clear?

  • My skin is FAR from clear, my camera makes it appear that way but it lies! I'll have to try to make a video some day up close or something that shows just how bad my skin really is.

  • do u have to put moisterizer on before the bare minerals? where did u buy ur moisturizer and for how much? thanx u look gr8.

  • It's always a good idea to moisturize before putting on any kind of foundation. I use Alpha Hydrox(brand) AHA Souffle 12% Glycolic, I show it really quickly in the video. You can buy it at Ulta or drugstores, and also places online like drugstore dotcom, and it costs about $15.

  • aww... you two look cute together.

  • Your face is so clear! I don't even think you need makeup. I'm so jealous...

  • i love bare minerals...

  • I LOVE that big fluffy mark brush. I need a new super big fluffy brush, but haven't wanted to break down and spend the $62 on the MAC brush. Do you really like the mark one?

  • I love it so very much! The mark brushes are surprisingly good.

  • Girl you don't need make-up your skin is already perfect lol I'm so jelous

  • a casual yet honest approach by a regular person showing us how she uses her tried and tested method of using BareMinerals. thank you for demonstrating. and your husband is a cutie. oh, i have been a BareMinerals user for about 3 years and love it; always get compliments on how 'good my face looks'. my boyfriend (who's 27 years younger than me) likes how natural it makes me look in the daytime, and yet glam at night.

  • ur husband's HOT!!

  • I agree and he's hilarious too! Thanks for the tips. This helped me. What a cute couple you are. I like how you smiled at him instead of became annoyed.

The makeup looks smooth and pretty. I'm going to check out your other makeup vids.

    :)

    Lindsay

  • ooooooh....ok

maybe its just for some skin tones...

have you ever used faux tan by bare minerals?

  • no warmth?

  • I use to wear it, I tried to make it work for me but it just didn't. I don't get a "glow" with it on, and it really just isn't flattering on my pale skin no matter how little I use. I much prefer the N.Y.C. bronzer.

  • I haven't had any luck with Warmth either. I don't think it's designed for those of us with very fair skin.

  • LOL your husband is so funny! By the way you have beautiful skin : )

  • Your hubby is so cute - what a goofball. *lol* My hubby does the same kind of stuff.

  • love your videos but u look a little chalky don't u? ( no offence )

  • What do you mean by chalky? In this video or all of them? I get foundation on my lips when I apply the mineral makeup, I dunno if that's part of it???

  • Lol what mess? You look good without the makeup!

  • ha !super funny lol !

    thanks for your tips:)

  • ♥ I lovr your video,I used to use Bare Minerals but it made me break out:[..so now i use Everday Minerals

  • Thank you for your videos! I'm really enjoying them.

  • Great video! - thanks for the "funny face" tip. Your husband made me laugh!!
