how would i be able to change the grassy tiles to be somewhat like snow tiles...something like on Super Metroid: Aegis (if you havnt seen it, the snow tile look great)
1. I don't have a copy of the ROM, and I am not familar with it.
2. The graphics might be compressed within the ROM, which means you won't be able to edit the tiles like I am here. If there are not compressed than you should be able to edit them by doing what I did above. Just with your ROM.
thank you....

A friend of mine is working on a Super Metroid project.
Can you tell me the hex address where the Samus sprites are? It looks blurry in the video.

Can you use a ZSNES savestate and load it into TLP to get the palettes? That usually works for Tile Molester.

What program are you using to get the tile colors?

I am using SMILE. It is a super metroid editor made by Jathys. It is pretty easy to find, just use a search engine for it.

I would, but there is two problems.
1. I don't have a copy of the ROM, and I am not familar with it.
2. The graphics might be compressed within the ROM, which means you won't be able to edit the tiles like I am here. If there are not compressed than you should be able to edit them by doing what I did above. Just with your ROM.

they're not. Since the snes days back in 94-95 you could see hacked versions of ISS playing really well. I think it should pretty easy to play with.
