@urheadonastick You could also simply drag the files to your computer and edit them using different software, so they're easier to burn. Crappy but unessential software doesn't mean you shouldn't buy an H4. It's a pretty sweet machine.

all the reviews i have seen nobody mention that you can use the H4 as a soundcard so i did in my video LOL

There are issues with a high noise floor through XLR inputs, and also a "peeping" sound problem with the activity light flashing. I wish I had stayed with my H2, for my purposes. Unfortunately, it's not pro-quality.

hey guys im hoping oneof you has an answer for me

so ive been using this H4 and i first recorded a bass line on the 4 track mode... i tried going back and putting a guitar part over it but ithe guitar wont even work.. it started working once but it cut out halfway through. and its not my guitar because i went to plug the bass back in and it didnt work either

I bought this and I dont want to use the internal amplifier effects it has. I want to just use my guitar and my own amplifier and record directly into the H4 and onto my computer. My amp has a line out jack and I am using it but it still doesn't record my guitar. It only works when I plug directly into the H4. Any suggestions or can you do a tutorial on this.

Well I hope this thing last because I bought a Zoom HD8 and had it for two weeks and it went down, sent it back to the factory and it's been gone since the 27th of last month and the "techs" there will not tell me anything also as stated above I was not told that Cubase would not work with Vista so they are very misleading in there "pitch".

HEADS UP:

To get the unit to work with Vista, simply remove the batteries and power supply, then let the USB power the device. I did this, and everything works perfectly.
