4792 looks to have suffered a fire one time. I have heard about the turbos causing fires on some of these before.

WHy aren't they allowed to hook it directly to train and have to be seperated?

The locomotives arent aloud to hook directly to the ethanol cars for safety reasons. Incase of derailment or of some sort of accident... its suppose to keep the crew safer and give them distance away from the hazzardous liquids.

you have to have a non-hazardous cargo car in between a locomotive. There's also rules for having buffer cars in between cabooses and pax. cars.

Nice GEVO in the lead and also that Heritage #1. Pumpkin in the rear. Those Don't happen very often.
