  • I don't like the sound of a 6 with dual exhaust. I'll stick to the single exhaust on the mustang.

  • That is a beautiful car and you'd better treat it right! That was a damn good car, a genuine Better Idea and ain't NOTHING cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooler than a Falcon!

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot yes many parts are the same but V8 parts and 6cyl parts are not. in chevys they are but not in fords. yes i am going for speed and handling on track

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot with suspension its a matter of taste and purpose. i´m going with koni adjustable shocks and progressive springs. but what do you want to know about the engine? i dont know what you mean by that question :)

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot a V8-mustangs spindles dont fit because the steerings geometry will get messed because the spindle arms are different length than those of 6-cyl falcons and mustangs. you can install it but it wont be safe on the road. granada´s spindles are the only 5-lug with the right shape the spindle arm to fit. or else you would have to change every part of the steeringsystem. i have a 65´ mustang with 200cid with eaton m90 supercharger and T5-tranny. gonna have 9" rear end

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot rear end from granada? why? you are supposed to get the front spindles from a granada to get steering to act right with 5-lug conversion. you can fit any rear end to any american car quite easily

  • @crownv80.... Ya then you can't hook up a V8 trans. driveshaft to that 6cyl- 7 1/4" axle... Juss shove a 302 in it with a V8 axle if you're going that far. This thing sounds terrible yawwl.

  • @hotroddfalcon can be done and is done here with adapters. a sixbanger has its benefits. my engine puts out 500 pounds of torque with supercharger. and it sounds a bit different than that B-)

  • The REAL Blue Falcon.

  • sounds like apissed off lawnmower

  • lol it was short??..

  • the 250 six has the same bell housing pattern as the 302 ! so you can use a trans from a 302 .

  • id get a 351 for that shit

  • i´m looking for my first car, do you recommend a 1960 Ford Falcon?

  • Get a 77 Ford Maverick or Comet

  • i wouldent no power stering no air condisiong its a grate car jest not reley pratical for everey day use

  • @maxf4u same here dude

  • @maxf4u No way a 64 to 69 or a xd xf

  • @maxf4u yeah same. i could get a 63 falcon in ok condition for cheap. im on the fence about it.

  • My first car was a blue and white ford falcon, I used to fly home at 3 a.m. trying to catch my parents asleep, so I could climb in the window and not get caught.

  • This car sounds exactly like my 1961 Econoline Pickup with a 144 inline 6 with a single exhaust. What size motor is in this car and is it true duels or does it have a Y at some point past the manifold?

  • mAN THAT CAR SOUNDS ha ha ha ha ha ha LIKE A LAWN MOWER or something. Not real good . 1 * .

  • Sorry, but it sounds a little like an Evinrude.

  • My dad had a 1961 Ford Falcon when I was a child. He painted it the same color as this one.

  • my 64 falcon 260 small block sounds great with glass packs

  • i was thinking about doing something like this to my '62, but not sure how it would sound on a 144

  • I have a 62 with a 144ci. I REALLY don't recommend even keeping that engine. My recommendation is to swap it out for a 200ci that was made after 66.

  • I didnt end up going through with it, but for now, ill have to settle with the same engine, it gets me around. Thanks for the advise though ;)

  • Don't waste your time trying to trick-out a US made Ford 144-170-200-250 straight six. All the US made Ford straight sixes from this family of engines have the intake manifold cast as part of the cylinder head. The Australian Ford straight sixes, however, offer all manner of interesting cylinder head designs, and make excellent foundations for rodded straight six. Unfortunately, Australian made Ford six cylinder engines are hard to come by in the US.

  • I didnt do it, was just a thought, gonna keep mine simple and silent haha

  • right now im building a 260 tunnel ram for my 63 futura :D(this will be my first car)

  • No 347 needed to make that falcon fly.Ive seen straight sixes MURDER V8s on the dragstrip. Its because they have a torque advantage with their longer crank. A good build up with turbocharger and highflow exhaust will get her screamin.

  • lol. its the other way round. 6cyl have shit torque because of the long stroke. v8's have smaller stroke they rev much faster and quicker. i got both. i have a 250 -2v in my xp falcon with 152kw @ the rears. eats standard vs clubsports after about 60km/h

  • more like a fart in a mud puddle - drop in a 347

  • nice car.. engine sounds like a fart though

  • thanks for this video..i've been tryin to find out what a six with duals sounds like..my falcon has a 200 straight
