I like how the core gameplay has not been changed. Instead of just tapping the screen like an idiot (UMVC3) to win there is a combination of touchscreen and the buttons. I also like how they chose to not do anything with the rear touchscreen. If they did, they probably would fuck it up since its new technology.

If they can give a little more I will be happy and gladly wait for the next game. The perfect feature for MK Vita (with the 'Near' feature) would be bringing back Kreate A Kharacter! You can play with people around you showing off your on character. The reason it didn't mean so much on Armageddon was because the online sucked and it was console based. On Vita you can take it with you and play AdHoc anywhere!
@notabear1 question how many people will play the PS VITA AdHoc I mean the Unchained version had AdHoc and nobody played it but now that the vita has infrastructure mode most people will play the game WiFi instead of AdHoc

The Graphics arent going to look exacrly like PS3 , the game runs 1080p 60hz on PS3 and it probably runs 900p 60hz on PSV so graphics will look a bit different because the highest resilution in Vita is 900
@X1xRiGox3X No, it runs 720p on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Even if you select 1080p in the options, the game is only running at 720p (as console hardware is pretty old now). They can upscale to 1080p but this will look nowhere near as good as true 1080p. Also on the Vita it isn't running at 900p... it's actually 544p (960x544 resolution)

the textures in the stages are too low-res, the character models look too blocky and I can't see any type of self-shadowing on them. I hope they improve that in the final version.

This looks like an amazing game, I am really looking forward to buying the Vita. 3DS and VITA are the way forward for next gen consoles! I haven't played the newest Mortal Kombat on the current consoles though.... I would love to play as the Freddy DLC.
looking at the game it looks like the graphics are a little less than what i expected but its not that much of a big deal. At least you have one of the greatest fighting games in your hands
@StarskyPSN Have you seen videos of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The game looks only slightly better than Drake's Fortune and it doesn't have as much stuff going on as the first game does. That's because the Vita is still new hardware, not a lot of developers (including Sony's first party teams) can recreate 2011 PS3 graphics on that console. I'm sure PS Vita games will eventually look as good as their PS3 version but it will take at least a year and a half for that to happen.

@StarskyPSN It's still portable just a few months old. Of course it's not gonna have 2011 PS3 graphics, but it still looks very impressive.

@StarskyPSN Have you seen videos of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The game looks only slightly better than Drake's Fortune and it doesn't have as much stuff going on as the first game does. That's because the Vita is still new hardware, not a lot of developers (including Sony's first party teams) can recreate 2011 PS3 graphics on that console. I'm sure PS Vita games will eventually look as good as their PS3 version but it will take at least a year and a half for that to happen.
