  • Hey everyone reading this comment, please check out my channel will you? I have a Atari collection also, and have a total of 93 Atari games! Thank you. =]

  • Whoa I never realized the Activision games locked together like that. Thanks for pointing that out!

  • Nice selection of games you have there, I love collecting Atari games because they are always so cheap. I can walk into a game store with just a few bucks and walk out with a big stack of games. As much as I love the NES, I have to say that collecting 2600 games is a lot easier.

  • Do Want Pitfall! Not worried at all about glue showing through. Just want to enjoy the game.

  • Very cool Rob. I never owned an Atari back in the day, but have played on them plenty at friends houses and such! My favorite game on there was Adventure, Pitfall,Joust, and Pac Man. I am not sure, but I think there was also a E.T game for the atari I remember playing on. Wasn't sure if that was on the 2600 series or 2700 series or later. Nice carts buddy!

  • @HWC1218 Thank you, great games you mentioned for sure! Yes I have a soft spot for the Atari 2600 as it was my introduction to a dedicated gaming console back in the day.

  • Nice lot, i would rather have the harmony cart also..

  • Thanks for sharing this Rob, sad to say goodbye to games but I know what you mean about space, I am fast running out myself.

  • Nice collection

  • Farewell Atari 2600 cartridges. Till we meet again. It was fun while it lasted. We will see each other again when we reach that 2600 in the sky.

    Happy Trails To You :-)

  • Love it, I would never try to shoot a video near my sleeping wife either. The Harmony Cartridge is a God Send for people with limited space. And I'm with you, Joust easily makes my top 5 on any system its on and the 2600 version is especially good on the system. One of the best arcade game ports for the 2600.

  • nice collection. Amazed that I never knew about the "stacking slots" on the Activision games hah. I am gonna go home and stack some carts!

  • @flynnz Heh I discovered merely by accident!

  • interesting, for some reason I thought you had more 2600 games, I really need to step it up with that system, but I just don't see myself playing the system as much as others like the nes.

  • @8BitGoomba I never had many games/carts and now with my Harmony cart I certainly wont be getting any more. You might of thought I had more because of all the consoles I have to play them lol! Sears Video Arcade/2 Atri Jr. / Colecovision Expansion Module#1 / 4 Switch Woody / Gemini / 2 2600 VCS adaptoers for 5200 and probably more I cannot recall right now....

  • I think the art work deserves more credit than the games. Especially when you compare the lack of effort (years later) that was lumbered on the Master System (UK anyhow)

  • @lakepalmer Some of the artwork was definitely imaginative and classic!

  • @MaximumRD It's bitter sweet for me. Like the Frank Frazetta fantasy stuff. Incredible effort and detail, but I'd have to have leopard skin throws, bean bags, and lava lamps, to have it on my wall, framed

  • @lakepalmer if money were no object you'd have just described the 70's gaming room in my mansion lol!

  • @MaximumRD Who wouldn't! Once you pass the finer points of taste, you pretty may as well keep going until you cherish the gross, gaudy, crap and embrace the 70's pimp styles. I always wanted a 70's Ford Capri with purple glitter paint job, orange tinted windows. With rear window "fan of skin culture" magazines to disgust women and feel envy from men! ha, ha, ha, mental!

  • Nice collection...I want that GI JOE, are you selling it? Love the channel!

  • @willgraham13 Not at the moment, right now just sorting and planning I really don't wont to lose focus. It will be sometime before I am ready to start doing any type of transactions. I am sure my subscribers will be the first to know, then Atariage, Digital Press etc. THANKS.

  • All right, I've now seen the entire laundry room.

Football on the Atari was not much to speak of anyway.

I'm not a big fan of the recycled Intv carts either.

    Actiplaque!

Warlords is my favorite game for the 2600.

Sweet games Rob. I hate to see you getting rid of them, but I completely understand why.

  • @edt1138 Yeah I need the SPACE period. I will still be able to play them all and more including unreleased, protos, etc on my Harmony cart. These originals will end up someday with someone who has the love for the original carts and the SPACE. I have always considered myself more of a hardware guy when it comes to my collection. As long as I can play the games on the original hardware I do not care HOW the game is loaded whether it is original media / flashcart / CDr etc.

  • @MaximumRD I collect the hardware. I merely accumulate games.

  • @edt1138 Heh yeah that's what happened to me lol!

  • Great collection with some real classics. And you're right - ET isn't a great game but it isn't the worst game of whole industry.

  • Or I didn't pay attention, or H.E.R.O. - one of the best games on the system - wasn't in your collection. It's a must-have!

  • @Hydroxylapatite Definitely. I play it from my harmony cart. No more single carts for me!

  • I hate those frankenstein Mattel carts too. Cool vid!

  • @starsoldier1 Thanks.

  • Watching this video kind of makes me want to start my own 2600 collection. I love the old schoolness of the console and games, and the games are fun too.

  • @RPKGameVids For sure man!
