First of all Bush stole the election from Gore, maybe he bought it. Gore won Florida, but the electoral college decided to give it to Bush (interestingly Bush's brother was the gov of Florida). The electoral college elected Bush not the people. And as for the re-elect, well most people didn't even vote, after what happend in Florida. Besides Bush was the lesser of two evils at that time.
