  • your a fucking r tard

  • Canadian Tire has millions of people brainwashed into believing they're getting something back. What they give you is from 0.25% to 0.5%. It will cost you $200 to get back ONE.

When you defend CT, you show that you can't do grade 4 arithmetic, and you have not given the subject any thought, but just bleat out your mindless defense.

And you do it with broken English.

  • ahaha people saying its useless, love to hear you say that when you're short 5 cents on you're purchase and have to break your 50 dollar bill and oops sorry i can only give you all dimes back in change, or when you make your return and don't have your CT money, sorry comes off your purchase :)

  • There goes your life savings. You know you could have sold them to people like I do? I sell Canadian Tire money when ever I get them.. Shredding them is just a waste.

  • You are an idiot to do that, in the long run you will save bucks at the store. A shame a teenage knows more than your smart ass.

  • @GunterNovaYT Can you do basic arithmetic? You get back NOTHING. Depending on what you spend, you get from 0.25% to 0.5%.

Spend $200 and they'll give you back ONE. That's not "saving bucks."

  • Thats a federal offense in canada..............no shit

  • @skateman1994 To shred worthless paper?

    Moron.

  • BLASPHEMER!!!!!! oh my god man why would you do that? troll.

  • hahaha i hate that money

  • lol it's not useless, I'n my town you can use it EVERYWHERE! McDonalds, beer stores, toystores... Anywhere really! You just live in a shitty city!

  • canadian tire loves you for that.

  • u could buya pack of gum with that jackass

  • they are completely useless.

they are redeemable in merchandise only at Canadian tire stores.

  • Man so stupid does he realize that is money he could have saved next time he wanted to buy something at canadian tire

  • retard

  • If you want to throw away money that's your business, but you could have given it to someone who could use it instead. There are many non-profit organizations that gladly take donations of CT money. They can use it to buy staples like cleaning supplies, replace or upgrade small appliances, or save it up to buy outdoor stuff like a BBQ or picnic table. If you go to church, ask them if they save it. If not, ask the volunteer assoc. in your city if they know who does. Or mail it to me! Ha!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • everyone does trust me

  • This makes no sense. How did you get so much of it without buying things at the store? Doesn't that mean that you go to Canadian Tire often? Wouldn't it be useful to save money off future purchases?

  • trust me.

canadian tire staff hate it more.

  • lol @ :15 "aw, i broke it!" lol lol lol

  • Dude...you are stupid.

If you have Canadian Tire money, you can use it to take the cost of goods bought at Canadian Tire off of your purchase. You are fucking stupid.

  • theres a bar where i live that accepts canadian tire money on tuesdays for food and drinks

  • i am candaian and i am pretty sure evry one hates Canadian tire money...Its uselss like you said

  • oh and stop hating on america for making profit off your crude ..dumbasses

  • you bastarrd! send it to me!! i saved liek 30 bucks with canadian tire money!!!

  • what are you trying to prove? I have over 200 dollars this year alone in CT money which i will be using to buy my kids christmas presents and its only August I have even more by December. You sir are the definition of a tool, and yes in some stores you can buy cake with it dumb ass.

  • @shawnwhite1972 The fuck does canadian tire sell cakes?

  • WOW, you proved a huge point...

  • At the very least put in the family fund they have at CT

  • dude when i went to panama they payed their drinks at bars with that money... i was laughing my ass off when i saw that

  • May as well just put your paycheck in there while you're at it!

  • ghjk

  • canadian tire money can buy lots of stuff... also it is accepted at many other stores not just canadian tire. You sir just shredded perfectly good money.

  • why do you hate it so much?

  • what is Canadian tire?

  • @zxMaGiKzx a department store in canada!

  • @zxMaGiKzx its a canadian retail store that only runs in canada and when ever you buy something they give you your currect change but also give you like 5 or 10% of what you spent in "canadian tire money" pretty much as a discount but it is only valid at canadian tire and you cannot get it exchanged for money ...so in other words its pretty much a coupon that allows to be used more than one per customer

  • I never buy any more Sylvania stuff. Everything I had that was from Sylvania stopped working after a short while. (microwave, and even light bulbs).

I hope your shredder works well.

  • You could have donated the Canadian Tire money to the Jumpstart Charity for less fortunate kids to play in organized sports and activities. Or whatever shredding it works.

  • Are you CRAZY?? That action goes against the very fibre of my being! Painful to watch, really.. I use my husband's from most of the year, to buy bedding plants in the spring! It really adds up,for sure, eh? Mind you, I pity the poor cashier that has to take all that money, but, whatevs!!

  • You should have flushed them down the toilet.

  • I remember having just over 60 dollars in CT money. I was debating if it was easier to carry with a duffel bag or suitcase..

  • Their was a CT ad when u were talking about it XD

  • i love how in most of those donate charity things in malls and stores is full of Canadian Tire money, at least when ever I see them :D

  • you should have flushed it diwn the toiet

  • Do you live in The country of Canada?

  • @Cruzian012

    Yes

  • @AdamDiddy Don't put you finger in the shredder.

  • @AdamDiddy is this realy money?

  • moron...

  • wow.... i want to shred money now

  • fake

  • you bought that shredder from Canadian tire and your shredding the money idiot...

  • Great video! Canadian Tire used to issue coupons that were actually worth something. You could use them to buy gas or pay for oil changes or buy things. Now you spend $100 dollars and you get, what... $0.40 back. Try to return something and you have to pay for the CT money you threw out. I used to be able to save $100 over the course of a year, when you got 5% back but now I'd be lucky if I could accumulate $10 in 5 or 10 cent coupons. Canadian Tire stop wasting paper.

  • @ScooterMcBean

Yes I agree. This Canadian Tire Money program is long overdue for an overhaul. Or, lets keep it simple, get rid of the program entirely.

  • @ScooterMcBean If you pay with a Visa @, they don't give you CT money in the first place. Saves the hassle if you do have to return something. Plus, many people get 1-5% cash on credit card purchases which is a better deal.

  • @wpgne Credit card savings are a pipe dream. Only the most disciplined and organized individuals will ever realize financial benefits from credit cards. ...just saying.

note: I've got 3 premium credit cards with near zero balances, collecting dust just so that I can bow before the credit rating gods ;-)

  • @ScooterMcBean I fit your description of a disciplined & organized individual. Never leave a balance each month and never pay interest. I only have or would ever want 1 card.

  • @ScooterMcBean Go to the gas bar and you'll get a crap load of ct money (if iits the Cents per litre system) If you want to get gas with it, put the ct money on a gift card and then spend it at the gas bar. What do you expect, if you return something, you are asking for a full refund, why shouldn't you give the money back? they are giving you your money back

  • that can go towards charity and stuff man....... when ur leaving the store you put it in the box

  • Congrats... You just showed the whole world how stupid you are. I actually got around 400 dollars of good mastercraft tools with canadian tire money. You save it up and you can get alot of good items for free. But your stupid. I strongly suggest you throw yourself out of a plane in the near future

  • @Novaworks1

But Canadian Tire money can't buy cake. Mmm mmm

  • @AdamDiddy yeah... Cake.. OM NOM NOM NOM!

  • Bullshit! The best you can do is 0.5% (on $39.99 you'll get 0.25%)

If you buy nothing but big stuff (say $100+) you'd have had to spend $125,000 to accumulate $400.

I'm guessing that you're (not "your") a corporate drone tasked with watching for CT criticism and lying in defense of CT. Your use of bad English to make yourself look ignorant was a good ploy to throw us off.

  • Wow you know your cool when.. Faggot..

  • What the hell?!?!?! I could have taken it!

  • GOSSHH

  • i have 70.00 for canadian tire money

  • This guy is an idiot. Looks like he shredded 7-10 bucks there. You could have at least left it in one of those charity containers they have in practically ANY store instead of destroying it, dickhead!

  • in my shop, they are worth 5 thousand us dollars each :)

  • Canadian tire money can come and go.. this video is here forever hahah

  • omg u fuckin ass hole why not give to me no life bitch u like 2 year old

  • lol dont get so upset there store is shit

  • hey. maybe you should have donated it to a charity that takes it and buy Christmas toys for children. Dick.

  • lmao shredding Canadian Tire Money on a shredder from Wal Mart.

  • lmfao why are you shredding it when you could buy something with it, then return it to a different store and GET REAL MONEY

    LMFAO

  • LOLOLOL ITS LIKE A CANADIAN RAP VIDEO!!!!!!!!! I, personally would never do that to mine, it helps me buy things...

  • Send it to me, Ill make sure its used properly lol.

  • I got a Canadian $10 misprinted replacement note.

    Can anyone estimate its value?

    Thanks!

  • i nderstand where the hatred for that waste of paper comes from, but why not just say "no thanks" at the cash register? that what i do anyways

  • Such a stupid bitch - you could sell that money on eBay, spend it, whatever....

    God please help this guy...

  • You're doing it wrong: Canadian Tire money can be exchanged for goods and services (at Canadian Tire).

  • it's free why would u hate it

  • Maybe you don't live in Canada but this shit is horrible! Believe me, it needs to die!

  • why did you do that.....i want it

  • I agree with UnknownAccount0 man if you hate it so muck you can donate it bro

  • You can donate that money to charity.

  • I bet your penis would fit in that slot, 'cmon giver' a shot!

  • can't use it but it will be valuable one day, and be worth 50 dollars

  • ;'(

  • You're in the States - does Canadian Tire have stores in the States or do you just come across the border to shop at a store that obviously annoys you?

  • This video is in the "comedy" category - it should be in the foolish ridiculous categoary! What a waste.

  • you can but things with it like my dad bought my a $70 pair of razorblades with Canadian tire money

  • you are a freaking idiot. its like if you had a real canadian 5 dollars in your pocket and you threw it out. you fag, you could have used that in the store or gas station to buy someting umm like FOOD? or one of the other million things canadian tire has?

  • That's like throwing away USA money, do you not realize that you can buy something with it?!

  • Mmmmmmm, chapstick.

  • Your a moron.

  • somebody may have said what I am going to say, but I don't want to waste my time reading all the posts here.

Why not sell the money on eBay? I'm sure you could get at least 50 cents on the dollar.

  • hey man ur throwin away good money

  • wow!! i collect canadian tire money and you jest trew away money tecnicly so you should be spending it on useful stuff like i dont know stuff because i could buy a good icecream from that money you jest shredid it into a million pecies and thats jest plain idiotical

  • u know if u lived in Canada or anywhere else u could have used that money to buy stuff, useful things such as a new defect free shredder.

  • Boy is he dumb... doesn't he realize that Canadian tire money has actual value at the stores!!!! Duh

  • lol canadians.though i am one.

  • I go to fill up my cars at Canadian tire, I even use the coupons which give you anywhere from 5-10% + Canadian tire money. I did it for a year and I bought two kayaks. I figure if Im spending all that money on gas, why not get something back for free? I seem to collect like $800.00 / year in Canadian tire money lol.

  • lol actually i like canadians, it was one in the morning, and i was pissed off...because i stubbed mah toe

  • loser

  • lololol its so funny i did the same wit my money i hades 20$ in Canadian Tire Money now i got 0 lol its so gay

  • I hate when I glance in my wallet and think its money when in fact I have none

  • Are you saying there there is nothing else in the entire Canadian Tire store (or Canadian Tire Gas bar) for free that interests you?

Don't you have any people that you respect enough to give it to if you don't feel like using it yourself? - I'm not saying to give it away to strangers but someone you care about.

Somehow I can not see the tiniest bit of logic in what you just did.

    Think about it.

  • wow you could of bought a basketball for your son with that money.

  • What would donating canadian money do? Give them just enough wealth to buy some plastic bags so they can sufficate themselves, because they are so depressed that all people wanted to donate, was shitty ass canadiantires, and i personally don't not like canida, Its just 1:49 Am and i feel like being an ass

  • You don't like Canada, or "Canida" as you like to spell it? Gee, I wonder how much of it you've seen. Because you know, Canada is the second largest country in the world and there's so much stuff to see, it varies from coast to coast, and I hope you're not basing your opinion on a visit to one single store bearing the country's name!

  • amen to that jelly. you make several valid points, canada contains several of the most beautiful breathtaking places(and women) on earth...we may have a bad rap as being marijuana capital and such, but hey, all good things come at a price. Dr Octagonapus, you're more than just an ass ;)

  • Canida blows, and so does thier money, Mr. paper shredder man, your my hero

  • what a lame assed motherfucker. donate it or don't accept it. What... you think you can use it elsewhere than CT ? IF you do... you're fucking moron.

  • You could just pass it along to me, or anybody else... what's wrong with coupons?

  • yeah thank you for fucking shredding tht money i h8 it so much!!!

  • its not that useless

    think of it like this

FUCKEN DONATE IT YOU DUMB FUCK

WE HAVE THE FUCKEN BOXES AT THE CASHIERS FOR A

    FUCKEN REASON

  • All I can say about this guy is you are a stupid fucking asshole. It is people like you that causes people to hate working in retail. The world would be a better place if you get hit by a bus.

  • You're a bus.

  • you got told.

  • yes he got told..lol

  • Even so that is very horrible to do, there are charities you could have donated that to, ever little bit helps. You definately must be an American from the US to be that bitter and resentful and chop up money like that.

  • BTW I'm being funny / dramatic :)

  • dude why dont u just ask them for reall money?

  • Uh. Learn to Canadian Tire before you post a comment like that.

  • u should learn english before u post a comment like that

  • Um, I'm pretty sure I was using internet slang. Along the lines of "Learn to play" or, in this case, "Learn to Canadian Tire." It's kind of like the "I can has cookie?" lines. Kthxbi.

  • while it is useless

you can donate it in store and they turn donate it to charity

there is always lots in the bin when i look

  • Come on, you could of at least donated that money. At christmas time, the Salvation Army accepts them as donations.

  • lol they are so easy to make fake ones

  • This video was very satisfying

  • I love Canadian Tire, their store smells awesome (it does u must admidt), and they got good selection. But seriously the money is fucking useless. I go in, buy about 40 bucks in stuff, they give me like 10 cents canadian tire money. Ye...what am i gonna do with 10 cents.. After over 5 years of saving i got about 25 dollars in CT money. 5 years for 25 dollars...big deal, i don't care.

But i drop it in the donation box on the way out of the store...not shredding it. So your wrong there

  • actually they give you 20% in whatever you pay of canadian tire money. i buy all of my hockey sticks there, its like you pay 100 for 5 hockey sticks, you pretty much can get 6.

  • I love the smell of the store too! =P

The airconditioning and the smeel of the rubber smells soo good.. i don't know why..

  • Too bad it got shredded. We buy this stuff for 70% of face value....

  • Haha that buckets like full but its probly a store owner that shits nothing to them infact the less of it the better

  • Whatever that means! A translation in Engrish might be nice.

  • I have seen what becomes of the money that is dropped off in the boxes for "Foundation for Families" You can even save it an buy gift certificates. If they gave it to you in a purchase, why shouldn't you give it back when you return something. Do you want the receipts to be in larger print so you can see the policy better? Common sense should have done the job.

  • I happen to work for Canadian Tire and I have seen many people pay for very large purchases with their Canadian Tire money (ie. TV's, all 4 winter tires, mowers etc.)

  • That's the point. CT Money is only good for CT Merchandise.

  • Are you saying that CTC Money should be given out so that you can shop at Walmart, Futureshop, Homesense, Zeller's etc. If you do not want to go back to CTC then drop it in the box on the way out the door for charity. I don't get the frustration of people that get something free just for buying something they were going to buy anyway (you don't shop to see how much CTC $ you can get).

  • The reason your shredder was not working properly is probably because it was from Walmart. (At least we are 100% Canadian and give something to the consumer, not just with CTC $ but the "Foundation Charity"

  • It's actually not that useless. Drop it in the donation bin at the till you retard, OR if you're that lazy tell the cashier to do it for you. I know other people have said this already but I'm saying it for shock value. Maybe it'll shock you to know that there are more youtube viewers that think you are a candidate to be shipped off to the States

  • Come on, Canadian Tire is fun. They put all that effort into making it.

  • What the hell is wrong with people. Is this another sign our education system is failing us. If you can't figure out the CTC money promo, you're in for a real long stressed out life.

  • CT Money is only good on CT Merchandise. CT money can't be used at CT Gas stations.

  • i this vid on tv

  • What a waste. Give that money to someone who appreiates it or shop somewhere else.

  • I gave this video 3star.

  • I hate canadian tire, don't ask me why there are people that like them. However just donate the TireBucks to someone that likes them.

Don't forget to search Djoe2 on YouTube!

  • you could donate it back to charity as soon as you receive it. there are always drop-off boxes by the exits of their stores.

  • I know, I was just looking for a shock factor. Lol

    Adam

  • The KLF burnt a million pounds Sterling (CAD$2,000,000) just for the sake of it once.

    Nice try anyway ;)

  • Found out, just search Canadian Tire Money and my CBC Marketplace Video shows up!

  • lol i saw ur vid on CBC at 11:00pm so i cheked it out =P

  • i save my canadiantire money and by the time i get 40 i buy something, it's awsome

  • Sorry I made a mistake, search Djoe2 on YouTube To Find CBC Marketplace Canadian Tire!

  • what an idiot. In the 1970's CT did not ask for the coupons back. And guess what.. people would buy major purchases and return them the same day and make $15 a shot. Then they would use that CT money to do it again and again. If CT did not ask for the $ back, there would be idiots making a living off of buying the most expensive items and returning them. Unless the CT money has been destroyed, CT is gaining nothing.

  • I think I'm the first person to post the Marketplace Canadian Tire Money Episode, search Djoe On YouTube to watch it!

  • Saw this on cbc from the states today! Glad theres no canadian tire here!

  • hehe me too, i was waiting for the raptors game!

  • Heck yea!!! I watch the first part without Vice Carter not very pleasing to watch anymore! I did like the interview they did on the Sexworkers they were funny

  • very smart! Shredding the Canadian Tire money that u hate so much on a Sylvania paper shredder that is exclusive to Canadian Tire. NICE lol. Shop at Wal-mart, there you'll get a free smile! lol Canadian Tire doesn't want ya, and trust me, a corporation that big, doesn't need ya.

A random Canadian Tire Store manager, 30 years

  • I enjoy shopping at Canadian Tire. I have been a good customer for many years. I don't like their idea of giving us approximately 1% cash back in the form of "coupons". It's inconvenient, and Canadian Tire is only after the bottom line. It's just an excuse to get us back in the store. Maybe they could reduce all of the prices by 1% and do away with the funny money clutter. But that would make sense for the consumer. So it will not happen.

    Adam

  • dude this was on tv just today!

  • lol saw u on tv
