P.S. I loved this! In 1963 my mother remarried. She was white and he was black. I remember all the same things being said about my parent's marriage back then. Things such as how we poor kids must be exposed to all sorts of sexual depravities now, and how tragic that was for us kids. BTB, he turned out to be the best parent I ever had. So much for the myth that interracial marriage ruining the American traditional family. The same goes for this bigoted proposition, no matter how they couch it.
