  • Should of kept the virgin megastore

  • no they could not !! this is an awsome way to honor her and she deserves it !!! she did more than shake hands and all of that crap it means alot to people to just be there and that is excatly what she did. she was an awsome person !!! i know she wasn't perfect nobody is but she did more than alot of people inccluding you bulked!!

  • i think it is neat she needs to be honored !!!! she was an amazing woman and the world neeeds to remember her !!!!!!

  • @ThePingShowJL Urgh, how creepy-speaking as a Brit, she has been dead a long time and was far froim perfect, its time to let go

  • @bulked

I doubt YOU could help the world and touch peoples lives like she did.

  • @ThePingShowJL And? She wasnt perfect

  • @bulked

True. But still. You don't get how much she did for the world.

  • @ThePingShowJL what? Spoke to a few polioticians, fronted a few charities, spoke about land mines and shook a few peoples hands? Hundreds of people do that every day

  • I liked it better as a Virgin Megastore. This is soooo rank!

  • @hannahhazlehurst well said-this hero worship is sick and hypocritical-firstly, she was FAR from this perfect angel she is described as, and secondly, all these people who are such fans of ehr now, are the same people who were buying all the magazines which consequently increased the demand for pictures, which eventually led to her being chased to her death by snap hungry photographers.

    Hypocrites

  • I loved Princess Diana alot, however I am not sure that an exhibit at Disney is appropriate for a royal princess who could have been queen.

  • Princess Diana was called the people's Princess because she was real, cared for the the poorest people in the world and was one the first famous person to touch someone with AIDS in the early 80's.

From these facts and the way she lived her life, I strongly doubt she would have mind Disney paying homage to her life.

Perhaps other pretentious royal might, but not her.

    Thanks

  • Actually she was called the People princess because Tony Blairs press agent at the time wanted a snappy little quote to be taken from a speak Blair gave in reaction to her death, and be plastered in the papers the following day, so as to give Blair the coffin chaser more publicity

  • i hate this. i'm so fucking pissed they got rid of virgin records. thats my favorite store!! fuck this

  • @PierceTheHorizon when did it go! i lived there for a year between december 2007 and december 2008 and it was there then-i never heard about it getting shut in 2009.

if its true, ill be so pissed-between that and the lego shop it was the only good thing to do in DD-except eat at Ghirardelli

  • this is an exposition that goes around the globe, is not a disney idea

and i think its is ok

  • i like the sentiment, but this really makes me cringe. it looks very cheap and on the quick, almost like an insult to the princess. i think it would have been better setup in epcot in the UK section of world showcase. at least then it would have been both surrounding appropriate and in a more intimate setting. this warehouse type facility (virgin store) is too big and open and the blue curtains in the back make it look like a cheap lawn and garden trade show. just my opinion.

  • Nothing against Diana or her family... but this is STUPID! Disney could have thought of better ideas to fill Virgin's place.

  • It's only temporary. But yes Disney could have thought a better idea to fill it in. It's nice for people who like Diana. Bollocks to the MJ tribute.

  • haha disney lost its virginity XD

  • Hehhhehe. Nice One XDDD

  • now would be a good time to make that the micheal jackson tribute exhibit.

  • that would be way better than this exhibit

  • My wife would love to see this.

  • so were is this at exatly it loks like were the virgin store used to be

  • This is where the Virgin Megastore was located.

  • Yepp. Now It's A gonnerr

  • What's going in place of the Virgin megastore?

  • This exhibit is taking the place of the Virgin Megastore.
