there are many other factors to take in account here. dubai is a city that imports manufactures and exports natural resources, (eg. oil) and highly depending on tourism for labor and financial inflows. we hope to see a more independent dubai in the near future, but till then keep ur fingers crossed, due to the political issues surounding the country.

I love Dubai. I just wish the local governmentwork more on becoming self Suffiecent where they do not need to import anything or at least most of their imports from other countries. UAE and Dubai has all the money to start working on this idea. This is just my advice since i love Dubai and wants it succeed more.
