I have loved this game since my childhood. I even have it downloaded on my Wii. Something I learned recently is that if you already have four options and put the power cell highlight on the option slot, you can hold the power up button to spread them out.

You think Gradius III(SNES version) is hard try Gradius III(AC) edtion, that is probely the hardest game in the entire series. There is also a Gradius IV and Gradius V on the PS2.
