True... especially for the hunter/sportsman. Those systems are not repeatable in the field when taking game and the point-of-impact will be different... In sniper training it is best to use a rest System that is parallel to the one being used on the bench as in the field.
This guarantees a duplicate shot and while this may be a minimal change at 100 yds. (4+) It becomes magnified at increased distance. The best product I have tested to support these findings are a 1-bag shooting systems.
Ballistic silvertips aren't as expensive as Accubonds which I am shooting at the moment, they're exactly like BST but bonded, which takes it that much farther. but you are looking at about $70 CA per box, not the greatest choice if your on a budget,but any ammo will do the same job just as good as any other bullet, its a different story when your out on the field then in at the range.
how do u like the nikon scope? and the gun? im looking at 270 win. first deer gun for me

I love the silver jacket winchester ballistics. I have used them with a 30-06 and I have some for my 30-30. Awsome bullet.
