just got back from here. It's a very special place but the car-free thing is a bit of a joke. I've never seen so many tractors in my entire life and a fair few were being driven by distinctly unfarmer-esque characters.

@magocacana I dont live there but I have family there - yeah its british pounds but its the same diff between scotland and england, its still pounds, but shops don't like it. Sark, Herm + Guernsey use "Bailiwick of Guernsey" currency. The notes are gorgeous, all multicoloured with beautiful patterns on. Same with the coins. I always make sure I keep a £1 note (they do have some english pound coins in circulation though) and a few coins each time I go <3

Hi Joosteelen- Sark isn't part of the UK, it is a crown dependency (as part of the Balliwick of Guernsey). That is why people there don't have a vote in Westminster elections. Also, outside of the EU.

This was filmed a few years ago, now if you know it like I do, as I am a local, it has turned into the biggest shit hole ever. Its nice to look, but the political side has made the whole communittee go tits up.
