  • hey nice job.. can you gife me the song name of 6:47

  • I had a rig like this in my bedroom when I was a kid cuz I didn't yet have a car =)

  • Very Nice Looking, but i think more Room for the subs makes deeper Bass :D

  • Cool stuff... Can I copy your Idea?? ^^

  • @R073NG3L yup!

  • some tvs and turn tables and the party is on with a dj lol cool stuff

  • @mivecturbo lawl

  • Hey i want to do this but i have a few questions. can you please help me out?

  • Bad ass the video on how to.im still making some additions on to it lights and some other things

  • I thought I was the only person doing this..hahaha...check out my video. I wasn't so conservative as you were. But some times you gotta go for the gold

  • wat do u use for power

  • @MrAndrew0054 did you watch the video? there is a 12 volt car battery in the box.. and a charger. plug the charger into the wall which charges the battery

  • What battery charger is that brand or model

  • hey man. im in the process of building my own system for weekend festivals at the moment and im not sure whether to fit subwoofers or not because of the drain on the battery. what sort of of running and charging time do you get with this at a decent volume?

  • @mrstephenporter as of right now i have it plugged in at all times, the battery is kind of going on it so i can run the whole system full tilt as long as the battery is having a charge to it.. i'm sure if a new battery was being used i could run it full tilt for an hour or two without being charged

  • @mrstephenporter thanks horse. think i'm gonna have to forget the subs and amp in that case as i'll be looking for the longest possible playback

  • i like it :P but you were better to use mdf for speaker box it's almost cheap and better for sound quality

  • the padding in the box is holding them back then.. im thinking about getting Remington 770 rifle.. what do you recommend

  • @MontanaSpring do not get... bad reviews all around, both from experience and from word of mouth.. just get a 700. best gun you'll ever own. and its definitely worth the extra what? 200 bucks compared to a 770

  • @drewbaby20 thanks man im going to check them out monday, i picked up a Ruger Air Magnum scoped rifle for target practice... 1400fps.. but ill check out that 700. thanks man. i loved that whistle sound btw too

  • going to blow out the mids from the sub pressure

  • @MontanaSpring not at all, they are neither reaching full excursion or bottoming out.

  • @drewbaby20 You will get phase cancellation from the mids though. Mostly in the midbass range. You should have sealed both of the coax speakers off from everything else including each other. If you weren't running the subs, how long do you think the battery would last? Also, how heavy is this thing?

  • @Nirvalica mm im not too worried about phase cancellation.. i mean the thing isnt insane loud or anything... there is no crazy flexing or anything like that.. i mean its meant to party.. haha. without the subs, probably last like 6 or 7 hours. not sure, i think i need a new battery for it.

  • @drewbaby20 Do you mean 6-7 hours on a bad battery or if you replace the battery with a new one? I'm thinking about doing something like this, but with only head unit and set of 6.5" component speakers I have lying around. It won't get insanely loud or bassy, but like you said, it's not the point. I'm just worried if it would be worth it if the battery only lasts a few hours at a time. Do you have a 12v battery charger in there?

  • @Nirvalica i'd say with a new battery.. yes i have a 12 volt charger in there. works good, and sorry i forgot to answer how heavy it is.. roughly 100 pounds. maybe more. 12 volt car batt, amp, deck, speakers, two 10" subs... it adds up.

  • @drewbaby20 Yea it does. Hopefully if I make one, I can get it much lighter then that, but who knows. Thanks for replying.

  • Oh my goodness! I'm so jealous! I always wanted to build something like that but i dont know how to. I'm only good with hooking up car audio. Thumbs up to you my man. You're the best!!! I wish i had an articulate mind like you!!! : )

  • @MrTimbo305 i appreciate it my friend. All this really is is hooking up car audio. As it is a complete 12 volt system.

  • how long does the battery usually last?

  • @minirider118 i generaly always have it plugged in... but i would say a few hours.

  • @drewbaby20 how do you have it plugged in?

  • @minirider118 on the video i show a picture of the charger i use.. it hooks up to the side of the box and i plug it into the wall.. the other end is 12 volt hooked up to the battery

  • 0:28 SNIPER ! BANG BANG ! haha nice !

  • @AlanFilips first person to notice lol, check my other vids to see me shooting

  • thanks 4 ur reply mate jist one thing were is the amp. cheers

  • @weman1690 amp is mounted along the back of the enclosure behind the battery.

  • Nice. Oh and just out of curiosity. what if the battery completely dies? Can you just plug it in and still listen to the music? or does it have to be charged a little? Does the charger put out enough power to play some music by itself without the battery?

  • @ebaum1000 yes the charger puts out something like 30 or 40 amps meaning that it could play music off the charger itself as well. and if the battery dies i will just replace it.

  • oh and is that a battery charger you have hooked up to the battery?

  • @ebaum1000 do it up man, and yes that is a 12v charger.

  • This is similar to what I have. except I havent made mine portable yet and I also dont have it hooked up to a car battery right now. I have 1 kicker comp 12" sub and 2 Audiovox 300 watt speakers hooked up to a cpu power supply. The power supply works great and amp stays extremely cool even when i push it to the max. the 12 shakes the whole house with no problem. I got an auxiliary cable/adapter for auxiliary/headphone/ipod/mp3/computer speaker output hookup. hook it to computer, ipod etc...

  • @ebaum1000 cool man, i too have a 3.5 mm headphone jack to hook it up to whatever, as well as a direct ipod hook up. its a fun toy.

  • @drewbaby20 Yes it is. Props on the box man. I think im going to make me one now. Its not exactly compact but heck man I wouldnt expect it to be. It doesnt matter anyway slap some wheels and some handles on it like you did. I would drag that thing around any day for some loud hittin music. Would be great for one of our parties.

  • @ebaum1000 thanks bud, its a blast

  • 2 big for portable.....

  • @shinichiXXX in your opinion maybe.

  • nice lol

  • Респект Афтору!!! Сама идея чего стоит!!! А за то что воплотил в жизно эту глобальную идею вообще респект!

  • @Alina2202010 Спасибо!

  • what deck model is that?

  • hey man! im just hopping on ebay! haha yeah well my first project is only going to cost £100 or so. But i reckon im going to need a bigger amplifier the one i got os only 40 watt RMS but i found some nice speakers too. a pair of alpines. I'll see how it goes

  • @xViperBikerx sweet dude

  • im doing this! but smaller speakers

  • @xViperBikerx do it! its easy if you have everything just laying around like i did. sucks if you have to buy all new stuff since ther eis like a grand worth of stuff in it.

  • great projectman! but im missing where you mounted the amp. am i just blind?

  • @brandonvanessa ya i guess i didnt have pictures of it.. it is mounted on the rear wall of the box.

  • @drewbaby20 Cool, thanks! again, great project!

  • that is the coolest project ive ever seen, how much did all that cost you and is there another way you have instructions available?

  • @connordunn haha thanks man! im honestly not sure what it all cost me as it was just stuff lying around... but if i add it up in my head.. its actually quite a bit of money. speakers $50, subs i got for free, amp 100, deck 250, battery free, wiring 50, carpet 50, charger 50.. im not entirely sure.. roughly 600 as to what I PAID for it.. brand new though, definitely over a grand... Instructions were from my brain my friend, i just had dimensions and i went from there, trial and errored it too.

  • And what are the songs at the end?

  • Man that's totally what I want to go for, and not gonna lie, but it really surprised me how it turned out, most people shit job things. thumbs up to you sir.

  • @happymerc thanks man, the songs at the end are just songs without the lyrics i honestly cant remember what they are called sorry dude.

  • Arighty well thanks man, I got the first song.

  • drew. I'm trying to build something like this to take to softball games (I coach a travel team). How do you make the car battery work with the amp? Do you just direct wire it to the amp, or do you cut it with a fuse in between?

Also, how long did it take you to build all this?

It looks awesome. Great job on it.

  • @daymon1234 its a good idea to have an inline fuse between the battery and the amp, i have that and highly recommend it in any form of 12 volt audio systems. this took me roughly 3 or 4 days to build.. about 8 hours in total.. cant really remember.

  • @drewbaby20 Good deal. I went out during lunch and consulted with a car audio shop about the type of equipment needed to finish the project. He recommended not using traditional 6x9's and subs, and instead to purchase PA type speakers. He said they'll project better and pull less juice than an amp and sub system. It's all still new to me. I hope it turns out as nice as yours. I think it'll be great for the kids. Thanks again for your help.

  • @daymon1234 ya a PA system would be way better for ball games and that sort of deal.. i just had all of this stuff laying around and decided to have a little fun with it. i take it to outdoor events like parties and camping, bonfires etc. PA systems have decent sound, but what i built has some pretty quality components in it, sounds very good actually. the shop was probably right in what you are looking to do, just because they can put out more and are more versatile.

  • how does it sound?

  • @singaporerock sound is great, clean and can go pretty loud as well.

  • @drewbaby20 thats awesome!! Im really impressed and this is a really good idea

  • @singaporerock thank you!

  • pretty awesome. Keep up

  • @tantedang thanks did you check my other project? tower speakers?

  • no bass???

  • @blevyzgass97 there is bass.. camera doesnt pick up bass well, and i was playing in an open area.. you cant capture bass on recording very well in case you didnt no.

  • wait, you did all that work, spent money on subs then you play Johhny Cash?

  • @SingJiya its not johnny cash and its a cd that was sitting around... and that money was spent a long time ago.. was just extra stuff laying around, i have tons of audio crap all over the place.

  • @SingJiya @SingJiya its not johnny cash and its a cd that was sitting around... and that money was spent a long time ago.. was just extra stuff laying around, i have tons of audio crap all over the place.

  • @drewbaby20 can u list the items i need to build this box . looks great mate.cheers

  • @weman1690 hm.. deck woofer mid/high amp battery charger wood screws glue carpet wheels heatshrink solder wire roughly 30 amp switch for 12v i used fiberglass insulation for damping i dunno... lots of stuff haah
  • What is the wire connected to at 5:48 ?

  • @SofieMEnevoldsen to the charger inside the box which plugs into the wall when i want to charge the battery.

  • F***ing AWESOME..

  • @sry9681 thanks man

  • looks nice but sound like shit

  • @nigerisss huh? when? it sounds surprisingly good actually. when does it "sound like shit" ?

  • xD its vere portable :D but its great

  • @RC240 thanks

  • how heavy is this!!???

  • @Nice2Mitiu 80 pounds maybe?

  • Clean 5/5

  • Nice thats just what i need for camping!..ha

  • hell ya build one up!

  • that shit must be heavy =D

  • i really thought it was going to be but since its relatively large the weight distribution makes it feel a lot lighter than it really is... it weighs about 80-100 pounds.

  • the best i have seen yet!

  • thanks man

  • a bro sell me those Rockford fosgate speakers please lol i need 2 more to complete my set up and u have two

  • lol sorry dude, its complete and not coming apart!

  • i got 2 6.5"s i would give u and cash to where u can replace them... i dont want to order brand new ones... is there anyone u hate and ant me to kill... ill do it for the speakers lol..

  • hahah wow man your desperate! i dont understand why you wont just buy new ones! they arent very expensive... i think they're like 60 bucks brand new off ebay.. probably newer model, and not used..

  • first of all i'll like to say its a very nice projekt :-D but how is it powered ? just normal cabels conected to a car battery, or what? (sorry for bad spelling)

  • thank you! i am powering it by a car battery built in the box, which is connected to a car charger (9 amp) so whenever i have an electrical source available i can just plug it in play music and it'll have a constant voltage... if im out camping or at the bonfire i can just take it without plugging it in at all.. running straight off the battery for about 4 or 5 hours.. and it sounds reaallll good.. those rockford power speakers sound delicious..

  • and im using car audio wire to power everything.. mainly 8 gauge for power.

  • @drewbaby20 Can you elaborate on the car charger (9amp)? Are you talking about the 3 prong outlet that recharges the system? Where can I buy a car charger 9 amp? Any info will help. Thanks

  • @mpyoung33 3 prong outlet connected from 120 volts which converts to 12 volts and produces 9 amps of current. you can find one on ebay. thats where i got mine. mine is specifically an EBRI 9 amp car battery charger. cost about 40 bucks.

  • note number 1 never put ur highs in the same box as a ur subs unless u seal the highs from the lows cause the low bass from the subs will fuck up ur highs cause the air will move them and blow em out the speaker struction < sorry for the miss spelling

  • lol its all good and i know that fact as well... i tried to seal them off from each other as much as possible with damping but what originally happened was that i didnt measure them out right and in order for there to be a decent subwoofer box i would have had to make a bunch of odd angles which i didnt want to do lol.. so yes when im blasting it the highs are moving quite a bit i think im gonna take them out and add even more damping to it just to help it out some more.. i havent gotten to ....

  • .... overexcursion though so im happy lol

  • flush is king

  • lol ya i love flush! honestly what made me do flush was that i originally cut the speaker holes too big lol.. oh well it was for the best!

  • add and subcribe to me ima car audio junkie like u

  • lol k

  • mutha fcka you gonna make me wait for the next project lol 5/5 one of these days you gotta let me hear that + when i start my new build your gonna have to help me lol

  • lol thanks! and not a problem man ill help you out on your project... if its as nuts as its supposed to be ill wanna be there every minute lol!

  • oh and you probably wont have to wait long for my next project to be complete... i didnt realize how short of time it is taking me.. i've already cut all of my peices and i just gotta go pick up the material im putting on it... stay tuned!!!

  • thats sweet bud

  • thanks man
