  • hey @warwick2155 .....you must be a failed musician. people like you need to not ever comment on the topic of music ever again

  • This song gives me the fucking chills every time.

  • heavier than satan's ballsack

  • ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkk yyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssss

  • deathgaze.

  • Ohfuck.

  • a very well composed track and nothing less then beautiful.

  • Brutiful track!

  • this song speaks to the sociopath within me.

  • That opening is KILLER. IT KILLS THINGS.

  • @xXKissTehCookXx no shit :D

  • sounds like swans

  • i got 1,046,150 pts playing this on Vector Stunt

:3 anyone think they can beat it?

  • I just started a youtube account to share my music. I really dig Jesu, Nadja, Planning for Burial stuff like that. I'd love to get some feedback on the track I have up. It's reminiscent of this if anyone wants to check it out.

  • Another great piece of music.

  • It took me too long to find this. My child will listen to this in the womb.

  • they remind me nothing lasts

  • i passed up Jesu in years past while i was riding my Isis/Pelican wave.....and never went back into the more atmospheric side of things since i'm a death metal guy.....but THIS, this song.....THIS. fucking THIS. is what i need right now.

  • JKB is awesome, Godflesh are my fave, this song is brilliant and intense

  • all i can really think right now is....O> M& F* G

  • This is terrible

  • @WeAreAllPretend I think you need to go back to the 'charts' and listen to rihanna. you obviously dont appreciate real music, this is art

  • @warwick2155 I actually have quite a taste for atmospheric, original, independent 'out there' music. But this is just noisy, fuzzy, out of tune and unorginized. Maybe my mind just can't sense some dimensions of sound that yours all can, because I'm definately missing something if this music is good. Or it could be that the recording is a bit on the shitty side. There is potential :P This band is an unpolished stone. I just highly dislike high, unnecessary levels of distortion bleh.

  • @WeAreAllPretend listen to Godflesh, another band by JKB, cant get more intense than that. Only certain people will appreciate this kind of music. Godflesh are more industrial metal like fear factory

  • @WeAreAllPretend Justin likes to create music with extreme emotion, I think that's the part in which is throwing you off; keep listening until you can see through the distortion.

  • you need to listen more carefully, id recommend playing it through headphones or try increasing the bass just a bit and listening closer to to the speakerz. :3

  • @WeAreAllPretend yea music is never as good through the computer as through headphones. most computers dont even play the bass to its full potential, the ones I use dont at least

  • @WeAreAllPretend Youre terrible.

  • @TheRealCaol4000 Terribly honest ^~^ And wickedly brilliant.

  • I used to play this every morning when commuting to work... ahhh so relaxing to hear before a long day of work.

  • @vivelecorn Then you must be employed as an undertaker! lol!

  • I love to hear this in the morning on the way to work. So heavy.

  • I want this played at my funeral.

  • this album came out my senior year. and it was some of the best music for the best times of my life. Thank you, Justin

  • OH GOD OH MAN OH GOD OH MAN

  • Broadrick can do no wrong.

also, I like dr. gonzo, he puts lyrics and shit about the song in the description, it's a nice touch, I don't have to open a new page to find them.

  • FUCKING AWESOME SONG.

  • This is the best shit ever. I only wish it would come across better when they play live. Technical difficulties seem to get the best of them... love this band.

  • Amazing song. Sounds like an evlolution of the Heart Ache EP. Shows how much of a pure music genius Justin is.

  • this is in my opinion industrial doom gaze sludge metal:D

  • Everyone we meet in this life are just emotional teachers, they're here to make us stronger, We're just as evil as our friends, their just teachers and mirrors.

    We all just simply....are....

On another note this has to be my most listened to song by jesu.

  • Gaze dub step? Are you kidding me?! Anyway...Godflesh, Final, Greymachine. I love you Justin. Your music inspires me.

  • friends ARE EVIL !!

  • I AGREE

  • grindustrial dubsetppin' shoegazin' blackened christian death pop.

  • @bentheiburg Roflface

  • @bentheiburg dubstepping :/

  • @1masterdestroyer huh? dubstep? which part? lol

  • @bentheiburg OH god not another genre lol

  • The dist.... oh the dist.

  • Man when I first heard this track I was driving down the A38 back home in Cornwall and I had to pull over and let it wash over me. Immense.

  • For some reason I feel very refreshed after listening to this. Brilliant.

  • this makes me never wanna listen to anything on the radio again. when music like this is out there why does the radio and music television play the crap they try and force feed the population.

  • @batfreak28 because they"re payed to/they're owned by record companies. :( Radio's dead, man. And If really gets to you, you could try to start your own station and bring good radio back (if there ever was any).

  • @batfreak28 The only difference between this and radio music is these guys TRY to write music, and don't just follow the formula. Justin himself said that the point of Jesu is to write pop songs with perfect structure and emotional conviction.

  • @bob20202020 this is considered pop? this isnt metal?

  • @batfreak28 Essentially, this is metal. But it has qualities of pop - the better qualities, obviously - also, a band's artistic vision of their music is usually very different than how everyone else sees it. Sabbath considered themselves nothing but a rock'n'roll band. BMTH considers themselves grindcore. That's the thing about music, it's all open to interpretation. This is metal, this is pop, this is jazz, this is classical, this is whatever the fuck you want it to be - it's whatever YOU hear.

  • @bob20202020 So true. I always thought of Jesu as Grindustrial gaze.. The later on albums i called gaze step dub.

  • @thatguyyoudontfeel wtf?!!! Grindustrial gaze??? GAZE DUB STEP?!...

  • @batfreak28 In no sense of the term is this "pop music"

  • @bob20202020 That's right.Justin himself said in an interview he inspired himself from the 60's and 70's pop songs

  • @batfreak28 They force feed the population bland material because it sells, requires no thought, and it's there. Some people like it. I sure as hell don't. F the radio. All it is is just a bunch of stupid dub step and whiny crap with no substance.

  • @jacob7207 I apsolutely agree with you;I consider those peaple who like this selling operations without a decent concience.I'm so glad Broadrick isn't that kind of a person;he's music proves it

  • I tampered with my audio a little bit and made this extra heavy.. All i can say is... HOLY FUCK THAT IS SOME DEEP SHIT.

  • New genre: Doomgaze

  • @CyborgEugenics Dang, you win.

  • Grindustrial shoegaze.

  • POWERFUL shit...

  • 7:40

  • this is seriously one of the heaviest songs in any genre that i've ever heard

  • @VonJost You're yet to taste your first victory...

  • @MirrorballJack i'm not sure i follow you.

  • its a heavy constant

  • The intro is so heavy!

  • this dude is a genius! He is so underground that most people will never get it.

  • @surfand1903 all this napalm people's deeds are quite interesting

  • @jfeuiebf Yeah, that particular group of people from that moment in time have all gone on to do many great things. Mick Harris went on to form the grindcore/ambient/dub/improvised free jazz group Painkiller with John Zorn and Bil Laswell, which is probably my favourite post-napalm death invocation. Jesu is a close second.

  • @ILuvMongoose I'm rediscovering Scorn's albums Collosus and Evanescence and listening to pre-Godflesh Fall Of Because at the moment

  • I thought this was magnificent. I like the guitars and the looping used.

  • Never heard of Jesu before. Thank fuck for YouTube.

  • moja ljubimaja tema !!! (love)

  • check out ENVY japanese hardcore they are awesome

  • fucking eargasm

  • anymore bands like this?

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkl'''''l

  • love the opening noises are they made by computers or are they heavily processed guitars?

  • @subhumanmaster Computers, Look into Power Electronics, or Death-Industrial, same thing just diferrent names. Beautiful stuff.

  • this is heavy as Fuck, and i don't say that lightly

  • blows me away

  • congratulations to justin for this amazing work.....

  • love this song and especially the whole album a great deal.

    transcendental

  • Justin you quiet fucking genius

  • @SalientBen agree Justin is a genius, remember the Godflesh days, but this is almost orchestral, makes me shiver and almost cry

  • @SalientBen minimalisum is not dead

  • @SalientBen Bieber? ueheh

  • My favorite Jesu song. So beautiful, so Atmospheric, so simple, so honest. Justin is a genius!

  • the soundtrack of my life.. this is beauty....

  • ha, I'm always torn about the songs on this album. Beautiful, but just devastating at the same time. So easy to get retrospective and look at life in less than a positive way while listening to this at night.
