  • I grew up in Margate and lived in South Jersey my whole life. I still taste the salt water and yes, Poppy, I remember the blue and yellow rafts and asking the lifeguards if rafts were allowed in the water that day. Folks who never grew up there just wouldn't understand the melancholy of leaving. In 2007, I moved to Idaho. Oh, how I yearn for the warm Summer nights, the Nor'Easters, the fabulous Fall thunderstorms, the great seafood. White House and Sack-O subs. You feeling me?

  • MY GRAND MOM LIVED THERE I VISIT ED EVERY YEAR WHEN I WAS A KID NOW IM 39 STILL ALLWAY SAY HI TO LUCY LOT OF MEMORIES THERE AS A KID ON WAshington ave love to rent the rafts as a kid they dont have them no more i dont think anyway blue and yellow they were with the white  stringaround them they were great

  • I lived on the Absecon Island from 1962 till 1975. This video is sparce, not a lot going on, but you nailed a spirit. I know that ocean, know it well. Thanks for this vid. It's an ace.
