Certain dog breeds are prone to illnesses because careless breeders ignore these facts. I agree that taking care of your dog is the most important thing and I applauded him for that. I am no dog fighter nor do I condone it in any way shape nor form so I saw no need in the headache. I couldnt take these dogs ANYWHERE, upon sight of another animal they went absolutely crazy. I loved them to death but they were truly difficult to handle to say the least.

Peaple can talk shit all they want . This kennal is top notch. Not a puppy mill. Who will sell a dog to any idiot that thinks they want one. So when you get into the different strains, or bloodlines, for example Boudreaux bloodline, you can have one dog that is more pure of a Boudreaux dog then another Boudreaux dog. Each bloodline of pit bulls are unique. And some are very pure blood and some are more outcross. And some pit bulls are not pure at all and their bloodline is unkown.

That means only the dogs that they liked were bred up until now. Ok so when you get into the different bloodlines that people have created you have dogs that are more pure with in that bloodline then other dogs in the same bloodline, because they have more of that blood in their pedigree. Outcrosses are mixes of bloodlines and are not pure in one bloodline.

Then when they say ok I have a pure Boudreaux dog, that means that there is no other bloodline mixed in the dogs pedigree, only Boudreaux. Same as race horses. Some people desire a certain bloodline over another.

I have seen Japenese dogfighting and they do not rip each other to shreds. I think this type of fighting is wrong as well, though. Dogfighting will never be legalized. It is a dying blood sport except among the poor and the criminal community. There is no purpose to fight dogs except to gamble illegally. Hog dogs at least serve a more useful purpose. Maybe that should be the only legal test of a pits gameness.

@erichoward15 After owning a few of Ed Farons dogs I come to the realization that no matter how much socialization these dogs had, they were truly bred for one thing and one thing only....to fight. I am no dog fighter nor do I condone it in any way shape nor form so I saw no need in the headache. I couldnt take these dogs ANYWHERE, upon sight of another animal they went absolutely crazy. I loved them to death but they were truly difficult to handle to say the least.

Mine get along with cats, other dogs, and they are absolutely great with children (my gamedogs were great with kids too though). They have the same willingness to please, athleticism, and determination of a game bred APBT without the "I hate every other animal on earth" attitude....It just suits some better. I like both dogs....

Just want to say this guy is a very well known breeder! I live in ohio. And my buddy has purchaced 2 nice blue pitts from pitfall. His dogs are healthy and very nice temperd. Peaple can talk shit all they want . This kennal is top notch. Not a puppy mill. Who will sell a dog to any idiot that thinks they want one. Fact is most peaple probably cant even afford a dog from this kennal. There pups are thousands of dollars. And thats why his kennel is 1 of the best in the country.

@DynamicAttraction So now there are pure forms of the Pit Bull, that have always been bred from the best overall male to the best overall female. So when you get into the different strains, or bloodlines, for example Boudreaux bloodline, you can have one dog that is more pure of a Boudreaux dog then another Boudreaux dog. Each bloodline of pit bulls are unique. And some are very pure blood and some are more outcross. And some pit bulls are not pure at all and their bloodline is unkown.

@DynamicAttraction yes they started off as a hybrid, but you ask why they call them pure. They have been selectively bred for centuries. That means only the dogs that they liked were bred up until now. Ok so when you get into the different bloodlines that people have created you have dogs that are more pure with in that bloodline then other dogs in the same bloodline, because they have more of that blood in their pedigree. Outcrosses are mixes of bloodlines and are not pure in one bloodline.

@DynamicAttraction When someone says they have a pure APBT, that means that ever since the pit bull was created no other kind of dog has been crossed in that dogs pedigree. Then when they say ok I have a pure Boudreaux dog, that means that there is no other bloodline mixed in the dogs pedigree, only Boudreaux. Same as race horses. Some people desire a certain bloodline over another.

Bull dogs were selectively bred to control Bulls by hanging on the nose, the dogs that couldn't hold the bull and control it correctly were often killed by the bulls. They took that bull dog and a terrier that no one is really sure what breed of terrier and when bull baiting was outlawed they mixed that bull dog with the terrier to try to make a great fighting dog...APBT.

I have seen Japenese dogfighting and they do not rip each other to shreds. I think this type of fighting is wrong as well, though. Dogfighting will never be legalized. It is a dying blood sport except among the poor and the criminal community. There is no purpose to fight dogs except to gamble illegally. Hog dogs at least serve a more useful purpose. Maybe that should be the only legal test of a pits gameness.
