Dr. Gary Heit receives UCSC's 07-08 Alumni Achievement Award

I have know Dr. Heit for over a year now.. had a surgery gone wrong that Dr. Heit has been trying to fix for me.. I have had such cronic pain that I wasnt myself anymore. He is the kind of doctor that you can only wish that you have working on you always with a smile on his face and treated me like i wasnt crazy for hurting so much. Dont know what my life would be like without him, He is a hero and my thanks would never be enough

Dr. Heit was my surgeon twice. Once to implant the trial neurostimulator for back and leg pain and then back in the hospital to implant the battery. He is a kind person. This video is all truth and then some and I'll always wish him well. He is going to do another neurostimulator implant for me in the near future and I have every confidence in his ability. Terry Peterson is an excellent nurse and person as well.
