I do like my MCR, but God can't the fans get annoying/over emotional? I mean I once saw them in NEwcastle, great gig, but the fans, mainly 12 year old girls, got on my nerves.
Nothing wrong with the band, but the fans create too much hype for me, most of the time its just funny lol. MCR say they are not emo therefore they are not emo, but hey, I can see why some people would think they are. Easy mistake eh?

I completely agree. These days people forget that "emo" is just an abbreviation of the word emotional. Which is why MCR are a popular group because they are "emo" in a literal sense of the word, but then you get the fans who are in the social group "emo" and then become obsessed with My Chem because they wear black, or used to anyway.
