This Movie is freakin' Underrated! As far as dumb Blockbusters go, this one is just... well (puts sunglasses on) 'Exellent'.

And the Complaint about a lack of realism isnt valid here. For one thing, its an MOVIE, for another its a COMIC ADAPTATION! Many people forgot that sometimes, Realism is way overrated.

Poor henchman. he had Nemo suare in his sights and could have killed him easily, but was heartbreakingly told by the script that he couldn't do that, that instead he had to just stand there and say "Draw your pistol!" which was probably the last thing he wanted to do. Poor guy guy, just trying to make his way in the world without being at the mercy of mediocre screenwriting... but Nemo just happens to be a protagonist in this picture and you're just gonna have to make it easy for him ok? :/

I think Tom Sawyer was extraordinary, at the age of 9 or 10 he testified against a murderer(The Adventures of Tom Sawyer), solved a murder(Tom Sawyer Detective), learned how to fly a hot air balloon(not sure what is was called in the book) from a madman who kidnapped him and his friends and used the balloon to travel to the other side of the world(Tom Sawyer Abroad), and a bunch of other things. To me Tom was extraordinary.

She was a vampire in the all of LXG canon. From what I know of the book Dracula, she was also bitten by Dracula and ergo became a vampire. So that's why she's a vampire in the movie.

Alan Moore's idea of a league of Victorian era superheroes is amazing, it's a shame this movie didn't fare so well with the critics and that Moore has distanced himself from the movie adaptations of his films such as this, V for Vendetta, and Watchmen, they're among my favorites.
