there will never be a point where we all come together and refuse to be enslaved by money, as depicted in the latest zeitgeist movement film.if something like that did occur all at once without a plan intact and some of the systems already in place, it would leave a lot of room for chaos and civil war. people will always have their own opinions and ideas on how we should live. it has got to be gradual. we need to come together and create these communities on a smaller, more basic level, now.

I have a few doubts...

1) If machines have the control, are not computer programmers (machines have software written by people, so machine behavior could be modified if wanted) the other scientists the ones with power over the rest of society?

2) Technological progress will grow at faster rate in less time.We will be able of living inside a computer virtualized world where all needs and pleasures are satisfied. As this is likely to happen, why should we focus on building these venus villages?

I mean, you have all what you need in the venus project, a home, food, communication..do you realy need power or anything like that?And if there were someone like that, although it would not be realistic in a well educatet society, do you think there is only a couple of mens who can program machines?i think things like programming will be tought in school, so everyone could help to make the machines better

If environment is the main factor in man's attitude, then how do we explain those who are elite and still kill, steal and destroy? These ideas neglect the sinful nature and the conscience, which Jacque says are programs from nature. Jacque would put a new suit on a sinful man, God would make a sinful man new on the inside regardless of the outside. God can make a better garden of eden than man can, but man wants to be God, right Jacque?

Its a shame I was in contact with these people, excited that some of his views are very near my own. I also had the experience of looking at a gear as a young man and wondering if it wasn’t a shape tat could be used better for people and a blueprint for a community. I also share the thought of man utilizing water more for building and expanding. I was excited to sit down and share my thoughts as two people on the same or similar missions.

@jdy328 Try understand that Jacque is unable to speak with people on the phone as he is hard of hearing, he is 94. Also, Roxanne is very busy taking care of an incredible amount of business so she sometimes must cut short for brevity's sake. I'm sure she's not trying to be rude but rather is quite overwhelmed with duties.

At first, I took this for just a re-thinking of architecture. But this is actually more like...the Osho of architecture...and, luckily, he is not the only one of his kind I have seen/met/talked to recently.

i highly doubt they are making much profit from $5 dvd's, they are probably getting a bulk of their money from lectures or other methods. dvd's are so slow to ship and a waste of media when you can just stream online and share X100 times faster than by mail.

@dirtymilkk would prefer that you didn't because the dvd sales helps support the project, although i know eventually it will be posted. The project has been supported in recent years by Roxanne's architectural renderings business which went down the drain when the mortgage crisis hit and they were trying to sell the property for a while ..just some things i hope people can understand...i do try to post things on this channel several times a week though... regards

@loke2670dk Thanks, I've seen it. And still Fresco has to overcome sensationalist media conditioning when explaining the role of computer technology in the future. Terminator II, I-Robot and Ghost in the Shell may be entertaining (and imaginative) but in reality, artificial intelligence and sentient beings are light years apart. No worries :)
