In Buddhism, Karma do not really acknowlaged like this, at least in my opinion. getting ill do not mean you had done something bad or sin and it is not the way to pay your sins. After healing yourself, you may reduce your sins by helping others(including animals, people, spirit and so on). Buddhism never stop people from helping others including healing the patient. one common perverb go: helping a person is better than building a seven stories stupa/pagoda.

In my opinion, what she said is really true. To find out the truth, I read the stuff that flg had put on their website. Altough Lee Hong Zi had embellish his lie with the ideas from Taoism and Buddism, unreasonable lies still could be detected. For example: in one of his talks, he said `I had open a hole on the ozone layer so the pollution can be released into the space. why the ozone layer appear on top of arctic, because there are no people there and I had been mercy to the people.'

This is the simple truth of Falun Gong.

Read Zhuan Falun and regain your one chance of freedom. In Australia some members of the FLG neither show the traits that the FLG discipline aims to enforce, nor do they try to spread the buddhist practices. Exactly, there never WAS a problem with practising FLG to begin with before. In fact the chinese government never really paid much atttention to it until it started to pose a problem to their political rule. To be honset like I say no one cares who is in power but obviously people want the right to practice without fear of arrest etc..Prior to 1999 there was never any issues with politics because Falun Gong are certainly not political. There were many high ranking officials, professors, scientists and doctors all who practiced. It was when there were more people practicing than in the CCP when the crackdown began.

In Buddhism, Karma do not really acknowlaged like this, at least in my opinion. getting ill do not mean you had done something bad or sin and it is not the way to pay your sins. After healing yourself, you may reduce your sins by helping others(including animals, people, spirit and so on). Buddhism never stop people from helping others including healing the patient. one common perverb go: helping a person is better than building a seven stories stupa/pagoda.

Altough Lee Hong Zi had embellish his lie with the ideas from Taoism and Buddism, unreasonable lies still could be detected. For example: in one of his talks, he said `I had open a hole on the ozone layer so the pollution can be released into the space. why the ozone layer appear on top of arctic, because there are no people there and I had been mercy to the people.'

Its not China's affairs, its Human Rights Affairs. Human Rights are universal. This is why the spanish court has indicted Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Bo Xilai, Jia Qingling and Wu Guangzheng for genocide against Falun Gong. They have 4-6 weeks to reply to rogatory letters or else an international arrest warrant will be issued.

@laowai121; Falun Gong is not a religion it is a discipline. It is a Cultivation way of Buddhist nature. It is guided by truth compassion and tolerance. A FLG practitioner will not lie and will be good and kind. Mr Li Hongzhi moved to America BEFORE the persecution in China. Mr Li NEVER said all Mixed kids are EVIL. Don't believe the Lies. He says everyone is precious and treats everyone with Compassion. UNLIKE The CCP. FLG members talk about how badly they are treated not Politics.

Did you read ZhuanFaLun in Chinese version. If you read the version that is currently selling in China and read by those Chinese practitioner, especially retired women, you will not say that Falun Gong is guided by truth compassion and tolerance.
And I know how expensive they charge to those practitioners in china for books, video tapes, .... very expensive. Where those money went? I have a relative who practice Falun Gong in China, I know how badly different now she is.

2. I have read Zhuan Falun and yes it DOES promote Truthfulness真 Compassion 善 Tolerance 忍.Those who say it doesn't have no proper knowledge about the practice
3. Books/ lectures are free online and a lot of members in China bought fake books which were cheaper than the official ones. That wasn't a problem. It is all free online.

Well im glad to hear that you at least try to live your life according to truth, compassion and tolerance. In Australia some members of the FLG neither show the traits that the FLG discipline aims to enforce, nor do they try to spread the buddhist practices. They slander the chinese government for all that it is. badly treated or not. People like that got FLG banned in China in the first place. It is CLEARLY politically motivated, and CCP does not like political opposition.

If you knew people were being persecuted/tortured/murdered and were having organs removed and sold some while still alive and your government was responsible would you sit back and let it happen? What when they tell you that wanting to do exercises and better yourself is illegal.Before the government made it illegal there was never a problem. No one cares who is in power but they want the persecution to stop.

Exactly, there never WAS a problem with practising FLG to begin with before. In fact the chinese government never really paid much atttention to it until it started to pose a problem to their political rule. Think about te nature OF the chinese government, being communists, they do NOT tolerate any sort of political opposition, which is why the FLG members faced a crackdown. As for the organ harvesting, unfortunately nothing can be proven unless justified by the UN. Which it hasnt.

@jliu2003 There definitely was no problem before the crackdown in China. To be honset like I say no one cares who is in power but obviously people want the right to practice without fear of arrest etc..Prior to 1999 there was never any issues with politics because Falun Gong are certainly not political. There were many high ranking officials, professors, scientists and doctors all who practiced. It was when there were more people practicing than in the CCP when the crackdown began.

I googled "Dr. Margaret Thaler Singer" and got about 15,300 pages. She is well known for her work especially with the re-integration of ex-cult members back into mainstream society. She is able to recognize the difference between a valid religion and a cult. It is not belief that makes a cult, it is the repressive mind control and co-ercive practices! I trust her judgement.

funny that, my dad was walkin on the street, some falun gong pratictioner came out from no where ask him to redraw from the CCP, my dad is like ....okay....iam not even in the CCP, that lady just go dont worry just write you name down. my dad didnt even answer her and she just kept on nagging about it. and finaly, she goes "okay, you wanna be peter" and she wrote the name down on the book, yup my dad was redraw from the CCP ^^ hilarious

hahaha! man, couldnt help but comment on this one. This is usual among Falun Gong practitioners, they believe that "good deeds are rewarded while bad deeds meet retribution". In their philosophy if you are affiliated with the CCP, its like accepting their bad deeds as well, so they think if you can withdraw from the CCP in your heart, then you wont be associated with those bad deeds and no harm will come to you. So you can use an alias for security purposes as well.

I practice Falun Gong. I find it amazing that people would call it a cult, actually calling us a cult, started with the Chinese communist party's labelling us a cult. Our principles are Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. We cultivate our hearts and minds to get rid of bad thoughts and factors. This is truly a good thing.
