hey can you help me out I´ve done everything like you said,I´ve put options.ini where you said but when I start the game there comes an error messege saing that I need to have at least DirectX 8.1 but I´m using DirectX 11,and my system is more than you need for this game I use windows 7 ultimate 64-bit

Hi there! I made everything you say, but while I play, it turns me back to the desktop, the program minimizes and I have to press the program icon from the taskbar to re-open it. I play again for a few seconds and then over again! And while I am doing these, the music (voices etc) stops playing. Can you suggest me a solution??

Great vid dude. You helped me get my Command and Conquer Generals: Zero hour running again.

For you guys that doesn't succeed in making the game work; The file should be named Options.ini NOT Option.ini

You have to have Command and Conquer Generals installed as well. Hope this helps.

@vincefire19 I am pretty sure you don't play it on service pack when you want to play tiberium, so just disable service pack and tr playing it

Go over the basic check, list game in drive, games not scratched ect...

If it is still not working then reinstall the game, or install it on another computer to see if it is the disk that is failing.

Basic check done each time I try to load(what I can do, considering I used .iso files to do my install.

Makes no sense to me either why it isn't loading, I've reinstalled and it's the same errors I'm getting. Might be the .iso files itself, I suppose.

What the hell is this even supposed to mean? Of course every version of the First Decade comes with two disks. Is throwing the bonus disk in the garbage supposed to fix everything?

@Tristan154UK You might have to go into the control text file and redo all of the controls you can look up changing C&C controls online and there should be a tut for fixing them.

@MultiNick1001 Technical difficulty's? That is not cause of windows there might be something wrong with your system check you have minimum specs make sure there is no hardware problems ect. Does this happen with any other games/applications? Cause if it does you might want a someone to look at your computer.

Uncheck "Display Pointer Trails". If none of this works sorry I could not help try Goggling it.

Everyone if you look in the info, all that stuff can be changed. So if you don't want trees put, no, in the show trees, same goes for everything else in the info.

oh yeah triplex339. i got solved sound problem which i was facing initially. i did small changes to ur given code which is (MusicVolume = 80

Resolution = 1024 768

Retaliation = yes

SFX3DVolume = 80

SFXVolume = 80) changed all volume modules 0 to 80 then sound is working. Last time forgot to say THANK YOU Triplex3399. Thank you bro for helped me to play one of my favorite game!

see iv red to do this every where and so iv copyed it to a disk due to the lack of inter net at my house and pasted the info in made the .ini and all but when i go to run it as XP SP3 i get the error please put disk in cd rom drive error lol when i had to put it in to get it to load.....
