Why are any of us even debating this video. This vid obviously wasn't made for us. You don't hire these two guys, and then dress them that gay to appeal to men. This is an extremely ugly design. It is not refined or sharp, very sloppy and all over the place. the head light are very sloppy with no elegance or sharp finish of any sort. BMW has struggled with some very bad designs esp within the 3 series models. Take notes from AUDi, noting the A4 sedan. Beautifully finished. This ugly duckling has no happy ending.

@drmastermka - Seen it in the showroom and on the road.... still ugly =;-) Problem is, the look of a car is very subjective. I've been running a 2009 118d for 3 years now and I love the look of it - quite a bold design, even though several of my friends hate it. The new 1 Series (to my eye) looks like they've "softened" all the lines, a bit like an ice sculpture starting to melt. I would have replaced it this year with a new 1 Series, but I'm now switching to the new 3 Series.

The 1 series... Yes definitely the poor mans car. How small is BMW going to make their cars? The M3 E92 has barely any room in the back for adults so I had to get a E90 M3. This car does what for BMW?? Move it up the ranks? BMW should focus on a Hybrid of the 3 series instead of the 7 series.
