UN & other world organizations should work hand in hand to solve this problem. this is now becoming a global issue, not just in south east asia but the rest of the world as well. we as ordinary citizens should do in our own little way like recycling reusable trash like plastic, papers, etc & avoid garbage burning or anything that will do damage more on our environment.

you know a dam doesnt stop the water from flowing, it just creates an artificial lake in order to make a water pression high enough to produce electricity at its exit way. the flow reamains the same...

global warming is a scape goat for the real issue of air pollution with is undeniable. grought is just an example of pure energy usage in the form of automobiles. cars pollute the air. now biodesiel takes farm land and burns it in cars. cars are the #1 problem in the world. if you took a small fraction of the gas in cars and used it for desalination you would end all world droughts. fact is you want to starve these people.
