It was a hot day. Both my kids were in the parade. John Hay High school participated. Mrs. Murnack's class. She recruited my son who was too glad to do it. We had so much fun. Thanks for posting.

Makes for good memories. I didn't know about this Parade when mine were little.. it would be wonderful for them. There's also a chalk festival coming up... I'll let you know when it's here. I have wonderful photos from those too.

Hi Jayne! I really enjoyed the parade! The characters were wonderful. Did the kids (and adults) make those large mask heads with papiere mache? They're great, no matter what they made them from. Thanks much for sharing, Cheers Joyce

Yes they did...adults and children. The museum offers classes weeks and months ahead of time to get everything together. Quite a production!
