Ohh, awesome,, but for run the laser at atmosferic pressure not work very well,, for 1,5 meters you neeed a vaccum for obtain the real power.
At atmosferic pressure, the long pulse is 0,8 nanoseconds,, and is same a long 28 centimeters, the rest is power lost. 1 nanosecond same at 30 centimeters the velocity of the light.
Just asking because I am thinkin about making a real big one. 1,5meters long. With about 50doorknob capacitors. 25 on each side. Wont be a TEA, but TE laser.
what the shit&

The title says TEA laser...guess he wont lie about it! ;-)
Alfonatr: Is the spark produced slightly visible as shown in the video or is it bigger?

The TEA is for Transversely Excited Atmospheric Pressure N2.
The Spark in the video is the same at I see.
The spark burn the surface of CD and others, in the video you see it.

What do you think, will it work?
