This kinda reminds me of the Smashing Pumpkins song Rocket in some ways. Yes I know this song came first, but I heard Rocket first. I'm not saying it's sounds that close musically. There's a few chords that are either really similar or the same. It sounds like an inspiration for that song (which I'm sure it was), but Rocket is different enough.

MBV was the best hands down If you know shoegaze most likely you've investigated & will agree or present a strong argument hopefully. Slowdive's "Souvlaki" album was the very Second BEST SHOEGAZE ALBUM It still could barely nipp at the heels of "Loveless" but.. what can!? lol. Such an amazing song...mbv is one of the few bands where most of their songs are perfect for at least three drugs.
