I personally believe that it's different from fighter to fighter. That is why MMA is so fun to watch. Some people are just more naturally fighters than others and some people get lucky sometimes. In my experience as a fighter (17 years, and notice I didn't say martial artist despite my Kajukenbo and Judo backgrounds) styles that focus more on defense, like our Kung Fu master here, tend to win. Taekwondo is a highly aggressive style and in it creation it needed to be.

@kakoloui the other guy is TKD and yes he's clearly not pro. 0:15 he does a "roundhouse + dodge + back fist-whatever" maneuver that's TKD stlye. all his punches, his kicks and esp. how he maintain his stance is very much TKD, but more like sport oriented TKD for lack of better terminology. I know 'cause i traind a few months with some TKD guys years back,but not seriously, just for exercise

That's a concentrated mass with tons of velocity behind it, so of course there was injury. I doubt he's dead though, a true master practices control even if it's outside of the ring.

just shows that in practice you are taught and trained to break objects with the skills you learn (more specifically tkd with breakboards, bricks etc) so like anythign this video shows that in reality, these guys are going at it, yet nobody dies, no broken legs etc, and hardly anybody gets knocked out untill the end , also notice how many of the kicks were wild and not at risk of harming, yet you would be trained to be precise.

This isn't hardly fair. Tae kwon do is probably the least practical martial art on Earth aside from fitness-oriented Tai Chi. Though I'm sure there are those living in Korea that can actually use tae kwon do practically, it's mostly a tournament based martial art these days. Although traditional kung fu is very flashy, it is incredibly effective. (as demonstrated above.) I've always wanted to visit China to learn kung fu.
