@ashneel99 You gotta understand what stretching does and what your problem is before you decide to stretch an area. @ashneel99 Okay so if you had a spasm it could either be weakness or chronic shortening. And here's an easy way to figure that out. Look in a mirror. Do you have an extreme curve in your low back or do you have a flat back?
If your low back is lengthened (flat) you will want to focus on strengthening routines for it. If it's shortened (excessive arch), strengthen the abs, and SLOWLY stretch low back. You could of stretched it too fast, causing it to retract as protection (spasm).

I thought it was a trapped nerve but I wouldn't go for a massage at my age, if you can help I would be grateful!
@MegaDotz Just do what you can! I've found that the pelvic tilts help a lot, even when I've just thrown my back out. Getting some blood flowing to that region helps. Don't do something when it's a "Bad Hurt" - Listen to your body. But at least moving something is helpful!
