@mouseymeander I thought so at first, too. But, after playing it again, I think she does say 0, but it's whispered. If you listen closely, it sounds like she says "oh-five," with barely any emphasis on the 0 (maybe for rhythm's sake). Or she could have just been out of breath. :P

@UknownHero0 Me too. The Japanese male voice actors always have a fake epic hero sound to them. Spike is supposed to sound laid back and lazy not big and bellowing.

@UknownHero0 Fair enough. I can't stand the English dub. When I heard Ed's voice in English, I unintentionally smacked my head against a wall, I thought it was so unfitting.

@UknownHero0 I'm the same. Can't watch the Japanese version. I've noticed that with anime the version I like the best (in terms of voices) tends to be the version I see first. So with Bleach, for instance, I can't stand the English dub, it's awful. But I suspect that with Bebop it's different; the English voices are straightforwardly a better fit than the Japanese. Ed is a great case in point: her zaniness doesn't fully come across with the Japanese voice. The English dub IS Ed.

Ed's voice is, for lack of better words, more eccentric in english. Goofier, quirkier, I don't know, but it works. Frankly, I'm more used to it.
